I want to get into crypto day trading. It truly fascinates me. Out of curiosity, if anyone does day trading comment what crypto you made the most profit on in a 24 hour period. Please tell me what crypto and the total amount of profit you made. Thanks

Don’t believe on the numbers that people are claiming. No one actually shares how much profit he or she does. You need to learn about trading yourself only. You need to understand the basics at first if you are new to trading and try trading on demo balance. Trading isn’t at all easy. Hence it’s alright to get losses at first. People learn from their mistakes only. Now it’s better to learn the normal trading first before getting into intraday trading. Learn about the risks and make yourself better to handle the situations.
The OP is doing things wrong, look at how his focus is on how much money traders have made on a 24 hour period and the coin in specific which was used to achieve this, all of this even when they do not seem to know anything about the market and they have not made a single trade until now.

Basically they are not really interested in becoming a trader, they just care about the profits they believe they could get, and someone like that has very low chances to succeed, since they will fall in most scams we see on the market, on their quest to make money as fast as possible.

Plus how can plebs like us win against the professional traders, who studied harder, who are simply better day-traders, who are also very well-capitalized, and who utilize an army of bots for each of their trades? We simply can't and if you compare the ROI of "day-traders" and the HODLers in BitcoinTalk, I'm confident that 90% of the Bitcoin HODLers will have a larger ROI than the "day-traders". They actually lost units counted in Bitcoin. Cool

It's very true that there are very few winners when it comes to day trading. We can also say that 90% of day traders are losers. If we see previous price chart of Bitcoin, from that we can conclude that for large ROI you need to HODL for longer duration. Even experienced people found it hard to handle day trading and for new people day trading is a big NO. If someone really want to go for day trading then he must put small part of his capital for that matter.

HODL is the best strategy for anyone who wants to sleep soundly with ongoing investments.
I agree.

I am better with holding and there's no need for me to check all the charts all day long and I don't have to run so fast as if I'm in a marathon trying to catch my breathe because I am on a leverage.

It's better to get into the spot whether you trade or hold. But if you're firm believer of long term holding, then obviously that it's always been the best idea to hold to your wallet.

Are you also newbie in crypto trading? If yes, then I don't recommend to you for go in day trading, It's very difficult to success even for professional traders.
You can trade in long term and I hope you can success just buy some good altcoins and If you have good fund then invest in Bitcoin for 3 to 4years.
I checked his post history and found that he already used Paxful before, so maybe he is already a trader? But, not the daily one because he is here asking some information about it. For those who are new, yes, they shouldn't start there as it is not for the newbies. For the OP, it seems his knowledge is not enough yet for it, so he may need to learn more either from the users here or outside the forum.

I am sure there are lots of learning materials there that he can find which can help him to be good at it. Pro traders on the other hand, won't be called as a pro if they are not successful on it but we should rather say that mistakes can still be experienced by them sometimes, and that is only normal.

It fascinates you, but the question is, do you have knowledge of trading? It's easy to get into trading, but if you don't know anything about it, it's better to learn what you need to know about trading first. Because if we just let it happen because we want to, you might just be like the others who entered here, most of whom are just starting out.

because the only ones who last here are the people who have intense passion, dedication, determination, willingness, and patience—the kind who will do this no matter what it takes; they will do their best.

Day trading is not for everyone, better to think again.
Many are day trader and yet they failed to make a good profit at the end of the year, it is already proven that those who hold more, can have a good profit compare to the day trader. This is risky and needs a lot of attention and time, if you’re still a beginner day trading is not for you.

Indeed, this is a safe way to make a profit, but each person's conditions will be different, just like people who have a lot of free time can do daily trading, but we must have good skills in trading, apart from studying, we must enrich our experience. to perfect our trading style so that it can be used as a daily job. It's not easy to reach a pro trader, but it's not impossible for those who are willing to try

I do trade daily but not me personally, just my account with trading 24/7 using Gunbot. You can check my thread linked below.

That's a question you won't get an honest answer to. Just like you wouldn't ask a fisherman about his biggest catch Wink
I myself was a day trader for a long time, but then it just became too strenuous for me, especially alongside my day job. In day trading in particular, a few minutes determine whether your trade is successful or not, you have to be able to concentrate very well and/or use bots.

If you are completely new to the trading market, I would strongly recommend working with paper trades for a few months before investing any money. Otherwise, you are very likely to lose everything relatively quickly!

HODL and a combination of DCA would be very good to implement. Don't just sit there, make the best use of opportunities to increase your average profit.
This is basically true, but of course has nothing to do with a trading strategy as the OP asked here. DCA is a form of investment (which I also use very successfully, even during bull phases), HODL can still be seen as an investment strategy in the broadest sense, although here you would actually need an exit strategy ("At what price do I sell my BTC").

Longed Solana with leverage in December with 14x leverage and ended up being up around 250-300% in just less than 8 hours(if I remember correctly). With that said, I wouldn't recommend active trading and most especially leverage trading to anyone. 95% of people are far better off just holding spot.

Or not "day-trade" entirely. Merely be a pleb and HODL the best coin in the cryptocurrency asset class there is called Bitcoin. Cool

No "logs" for trades, no Excel Spreadsheets, no Technical Analysis, no Indicators, no charts, simply buy then HODL. You'll have better sleep, better mood, and you'll be healthier and it will save you from mental insanity.

HODL is the best strategy for anyone who wants to sleep soundly with ongoing investments. However, there is a rule that must not be violated, namely selling too early because of panic and only needing to buy again when the price continues to fall from the initial purchase price. Must have cash reserves that can be used for repurchases. HODL and a combination of DCA would be very good to implement. Don't just sit there, make the best use of opportunities to increase your average profit.
Yes it's a good strategy for the newbie's, they started trading and dreaming their money will be double in a day or week but they losses in every trade because of their wrong concept about trading because it's not a quick earning scheme. I am following your method to holding BTC and ETH and i planned to long term stored.

I can see that you are very desperate to become a crypto trader but you need to know what you are doing so that you don't end up being a loser. We can always make money from the market if we know how to trade and organize ourselves so that we can keep being Profitable in the market. You don't have to be desperate to become a trader. There are so many miseries about trading and we know to know that because we go in and starts trading. Money vbe made also loses can likewise be made.

In my view, day trading is not for beginners and for those who don't own a decent portfolio, or in trading terminology, you can call it capital amount.
Trading is not for everyone and not for all beginners because if you don't have knowledge and required skills as well as characteristics, you will fail in trading. It is more easily to fail than to succeed in trading.

Big or small capital, it does not make sense as if you fail with small capital, you will not succeed with big capital. With big capital, pressure is bigger and it is more easily to fail also because you will harder to enter and exit the market with your big position.

Quote
At the same time, not every day is a trading day
Daily trading is very professional traders who can choose good entries and are disciplines to close their positions. Amateur traders (beginners) are not able to find good entries and are not disciplined to exit the market when positions turn bad or don't hit their expectation for profit.

Haha.. Who knows who does the day trading, TBH I don't because in 24 hours based on my current capabilities and portfolio, I don't find day trading helpful in making decent profits because my entire current portfolio is based on the buy and hold strategy and I'm waiting for some exciting pumps to book some and re-enter.

In my view, day trading is not for beginners and for those who don't own a decent portfolio, or in trading terminology, you can call it capital amount. At the same time, not every day is a trading day, haha, it might look like an Instagram quote but it's a fact because to make something in the market you need volatility, and the market doesn't give enough volatility every day in the whole year to hit the target profits. I had shared my day trade history previously in a post where I've made only 2-day trades not consecutively but those were good days i made, around 2x of my entry margin in those days. As a friend of mine says not everyone is for six, when it comes you should and I followed.

I'm just asking, do you have any knowledge or ideas on trading OP? Because if you answer us that there is nothing, what will it do you if someone says here in this section that they earned this amount in just a few days if you don't know anything about trading in this field of cryptocurrency?

Just remember, in the trading that we or you are going to enter here in the crypto space, the foundation is that we must have knowledge in the field we are entering; if we don't have it, we must study and find out how we can get and learn crypto trading too, right?

It is better not to have too much leverage in trading. The less greed in this field the better. Trading is a very difficult task.  Trading is not possible for everyone. Professionals do day trading and take profit. Some are very greedy and unable to protect their own people.  There are records that have gained more and lost everything by trading, and behind most of these losses there is a high level of leverage. Among the rules of trading, it must also be a low leverage, that is, greed must be controlled.

Day trading is very risky and one should not involved in it with little or no knowledge because in day trading people with sharp mind, complex knowledge and experience cannot make such a huge profit so how an inexperienced person can get profit from it.

If still you want to do day trading then first gain knowledge, get experience and don't use large amount before getting experience so in such case your little sum will just be used for enhancing experience. Use different strategies and also learn well that how to choose coin, what qualities should be keep in mind in order to do trading with good coins.

In daily trading, we actually have to have mental readiness and truly mature insight. Not just about technical, fundamental or sentimental analysis. But it is also about patience and steadfastness in controlling fear and greed.

And I remind you that daily trading is actually quite simple if we don't become greedy people. But it will be very difficult if we become greedy people. And there is no trading pair that we really focus on every day. Because I also sometimes change trading pairs several times a day. Because I usually only enter 1 or 2 positions in one trading pair. Once I am done then I will look for other trading pairs. And determining trading pairs must also go through fundamental analysis and then continue with technical and sentimental analysis. Only after that can we take a position with a plan that we feel is mature enough.

but still day trading does not always bring profits. Because there are times when I experience defeat too. It's just that I have arranged everything so that the losses do not exceed the limit I can bear. And try to keep the ratio between profits and losses higher than the profit ratio. Usually I recap everything once a week and once a month.
