I got ideas about the Internet from my IT teacher in school. He introduced us to a lot of different things on the Internet, like free movies, music and coding. I am glad for such a good teacher.
i guess, my mom (?) I grew up knowing the internet (like all the other gen z's out there), so yeah. I spent a good chuck of my time playing facebook when i first was introduced to the internet
Good for you because Have been grown up with internet , while us have got in school but invery dark part of internet using.when the access is limited and super slow moving.

Who writes that he learned about the Internet, from dad, from mom. On the contrary, I learned from my son. No, of course I already knew about the existence of the Internet then, but my son taught me how to use it. And then we taught our mother (my wife).

It was my childhood friend who introduced me to the internet. I only know about computer games like counter strike and no idea that there's more about computers and it's connectivity to the internet.
That friend of mine didn't pursue a career in information technology or with computer-related jobs.
It was also a game that my friend introduce, counter strike and dota is really famous way back. I really enjoyed playing with my friends and my brother, We enjoyed spending our way time in computer shops. there's an internet cafe in our college campus back when i was in college and that was year 2000 where internet is not yet big as off today. me and my friends got curious that we chatted through mirc without knowing that internet is needed that time and that were are connected to the internet. lol. then after that we just visited several sites specially band sites like ratm, deftones, chevelle, etc. just to hear snippets from their new albums. haha! and that started it all for us.

The Internet is everywhere nowadays, basically just depending on your age and immersion to the new technologies that happened recently.
It's an interactive upgrade to the traditional multimedia content options that we had previously i.e. newspaper, magazines, radio television, etc.
Moreover, it's an all in one package that even competed against other traditional forms of communication i.e. telephone, mobile phone, video phone, etc.
Also, it even became a valid option to compete against satellite land-based vehicle navigation technology i.e. buit-in vehicle navigation, mobile phone navigation, etc.
Got the idea from my college friends, was really amazed and fascinated about the Internet world's, later I start making my research

Back in the day and before broadband became ubiquitous, 56k modem speeds were the norm.

Because internet is in everywhere now,i had found this on my own because all people are using this and i use to have Internet shop before so i know this for long time now.

Its my sister, when she is in college. Everytime she's working on her assignment and need to research, I accompany her to a computer shop and watch her clicking the mouse. I was so amaze because im still young at that time. She created a friendster account for me and thats how I learn to browse and discover the internet.

I tried to go to an internet cafe because at that time, the ISP provider is not many, and to subscribe to the ISP needs big money.
