There are 10 sticky threads currently in lending section.
I'm a little confused why some relatively new deposit taker e.g hashking has his thread stuck while other older members don't.
Stickies only go to people with lending operations, since that's what someone new to the section would be looking for. Otherwise, they would get buried in all of the lending requests. Everything else is covered by the "Who pays what?" sticky.

While you might think that it'd be better to collapse the threads into one, that will only ensure that those threads are never read, because "Guide to (anything)" stickies are universally ignored.

I agree with you on Hashking and the others, not really much reason for the not-a-ponzi threads to be stickied, the other loan services are fairly unique at least.

Also, please consider to collapse some sticky thread to free more space.
For example, mod could collect the following to one single thread.

Subject: Guide to lending section
Content:
Here are some threads which are useful to new comers in the lending section. Please read before you deposit/request a loan here.
A list of defaulted loans (list of scammers inside here)
How to Request a Loan.
Who Pays What?
On the "Confidence Loan" Trend.
