and why did you do that?

I'm a latecomer but I'm glad that is not the level where I bought mine, but I'm still in lost on my portfolio but I have high hopes that my bounty campaign rewards will have an impact to my portfolio because I will be getting it free.

Too many people did, without knowing what the market corrections would be in the future.... This has been seen in multiple markets across the board especially around the .net inital 'bubble'. We will see a rise in this experimental crypto stage but not for a while.

Oh man, i tried to buy some but really not in 20k maybe a bit lower than it. Expecting to get a higher price from it, and sadly thats not happening here. I am not sure whtas going on with bitcoin and its really scary. I am not sure if i want to pursue my positive insight about bitcoin. It keeps on going down and the other alts also is doing the same. Luckily, i didnt buy much that time, or im gonna burst in tears in the corner of our house. (just kidding). When will bull run coming? Does this really help bitcoin and other alts to increase their price?

I bought Bitcoin for 8, 000, 12, 000 and 14, 000 dollars. Now the price of bitcoin does not make me happy

Do you think bitcoin will not reach the price of 20, 000 dollars?

I think bitcoin time is still ahead

Sorry mate, I think what you need now is se level of discipline to hold on to them. The current state of the market is not new, it has happened so many times and the market was able to rebound again. Those who held to it then later smile and if you can also do so now, sooner or later you will be happy you did.

Me!
Actually I've bought BTC @ about 18k and then DCA to 16k (when its fall). Because I think thats just a little back-step before jumping to the moon (literally). But as everyone know, the trend has moved to the opposite way and I think I've lost 75% of my investment... If I havent done anything with that btc. I'm not a holder, so when the price felt, I've used the BTC to buy altcoin (ICO - which has strong dev team and great community). After 5 months of my altcoin investment, I've lost all. lol!

My Ripple has gone down just as fast but the thing is that I still trust them unless they do something that is not written on the box like
installing ransomware on my machine or claiming that someone caught me "Tugging" as I was watching porn and now wants blackmail money from me
paid in XPR because that's happening all the time with Bitcoin but lets pretend that it's being used for real transactions (apart from buying weed) if it makes
people around here feels better.

Ripple foundation controls the transactions and coins, they can easily track you and also take your money (spend it instead of you to their own address) if they wanted to.
but lets pretend XRP is not centralized and broken like this.

I bought bitcoin for 1000-1100 $ for 1 bitcoin and did not leave it until now, I believe in him and his idea, but if he rises again to such heights, I will sell 25% of the Deposit !

Your lucky to got bitcoin at $1k

I guess bitcoin will not go down at $1k

If you sell you btc at at $20k you almost multiple you btc holdings.

Those who bought at such amount have sold out most of their investment which am pretty sure, but for those still holding their investment since then have themselves to blame. Bitcoin current price should not scare us as the holders rather be happy because the current price has show that Bitcoin is not a hype as many quarters envisage it was.

I do not think anybody got bitcoin at that price level of $20K because it only momentarily touched that price and bounced off back to $19 plus. But more people are in red to compare with the people that are in profit and this is killing and the price keep going down as if it was agreed that bitcoin will be killed off this year. But not to worry the price will soon reverse

Greed to have more drove them to buy BTC at $20,000.
I'm glad I entered the scene early last year when BTC was still at $2,000.
Was able to exit last December with 2x gains.
The rest I have in crypto are now profit and also from bounties.

and why did you do that?

i'm not a person who joins when the price at $20k
but i know the reason why there are some people joining at $20k
they invest because of FOMO
they are afraid of losing the opportunity to benefit from bitcoin investment

Fear, they were afraid they were going to miss out on the rise to $100000, which is never coming.

People forget, that in a market for someone to win , someone else has to lose.

Everyone that brought in above $3900 are now officially the losers and that # of losers will increase as the price continues downward.

I didn't buy right at the top but not far from that level. Fortunately(ish) not on my own behalf, but I still feel bad for facilitating someone else buying at what is now looking like such a terrible price. They'd heard of the benefits of bitcoin and wanted to leave their investment for a long time to see how it will perform, so at least in that regard they may still be okay. They were also well aware of the potential risks.

Not me but I got out at $18k because fees hitting $55 a pop per transaction was a sure sign to me that the currency and the software
team behind BTC could not be trusted and as you know that price has been dropping ever since.

Tell me how do you value trust in digital terms

My Ripple has gone down just as fast but the thing is that I still trust them unless they do something that is not written on the box like

It is nice to create stories most of the time. Better post it in off topic section because we dont have Funny and Jokes secrtion here. But thank you I did laugh a bit.

Now let us go back to the topic.
I dont think there is much users who bought at 20k for a lot are just waiting and it didnt took long there. It is just like a matter of hours and suddenly it falls bit by bit every minute.
If you are worrying about them, then better not. They may not be foolish to sell at a losing side. It will be worth the wait itf it will bounce back once again. Do not believe too much speculations.

you can tug in peace while fantasizing about Ripple.

Bitcoin is a trustless peer to peer electronic cash system.  Your trying to place value behind the team of software developers is like trying to guage how good a football team is by the colour of their uniforms...
