I personally only use crypto currency nowadays. I have a bitcoin debit card (bitpay) that I use everyday to make any payments.

It is nice because I can receive money anywhere in the world and have it sent directly to my bitpay account and then spend it in a irl store within minutes.

What about you guys? Do you invest/trade/use crypto currency?

I live in NY btw

Hi,

I have a paid job aside... but I must admit that the money I own through bitcoin is equivalent to the minimum wage in my country

Actually, Iwould have to trade it for "real" money but I could live only through bitcoin. Except that I don't because my IRL job pays waaayyy better than my trading skills!  Grin

Very interesting, I am always intrigued with how people utilize bitcoin. Have you ever thought about taking your side job to full? You dont necessarily have to live on trading, you could offer a service or product online and accept cryptocurrency.

Hey, seems like your question "Have you ever thought about taking your side job to full?" fits perfectly with my answer. Im working in a mainstream mall here in my country for 2 years now while at the same time offering my service here in this forum by joining signature campaigns. What I get from my job and from the campaigns are almost equal in terms of salary, infact sometimes I get more rewards from campaign than my day job. So, I come to think of "what if I'll practice day trading while doing signature and bounty campaign instead of going to my day job?"
Right now, Im on the verge of deciding to finally quit my job on January, because I know theres a good future for me here to become financialy stable. And by the way I am using Bitcoin for some of my transactions almost everyday like reloading for my mobile phone, paying electric and water bills, or even a payment for my debt to my friends."

Almost a year ago I'm also living full of cryptocurrency, and it feels very comfortable. You do not have to worry about your finances, you just need to take care of your bitcoin as well as possible.

I know some who are working on cryptocurrency fulltime and they get their living from it but they dont do it as you do. Well not all countries do accept crypto as payment in retail stores but sure they do some payment transactions online too.

I'm just engaged in trading and crypto currency! This is my only source of income! I sold my offline business and put my money into my coins) This is the best that was with me

Good for you because you started Cryptocurrency early and while it's price is cheaper. Although today isn't too late because we can still have opportunities through Altcoins but the best time to start Bitcoin is earlier while the price is cheaper than today.

Me I don't and not yet but one of my friends is. He's the one who introduced to my friend and my friend to mine. Although it's possible to make cryptocurrency as a source of income but for me not now. And I found out that the more accounts you have the more earnings you'll get so now I'm trying to give my best to earn coins and tokens as I can.

I don't want to spend my bitcoins now because currently the price keeps increasing so we have to hold our bitcoins to get more profits.

Still we can't use crypto currency on daily basis because still many people don't accept bitcoin as their payment, only some places like supermarket and restaurants are accepting bitcoin. So it is necessary to convert our crypto into fiat to use or spend it in my country.

That could be good for you in a long run. As it seems that plenty of people here are claiming they live with cryptocurrencies almost everyday, for me i think i can't handle that kind of thing, sometimes i need also to relax, having full time job in the office at the same time part time working in cryptocurrencies, it seems kinda hard if you wont need a day off.

For us it's still a dream. In my country bitcoins status is yet not decided. Government is still observing its functioning. We have bitcoin exchanges, where trading taking place in full swing, people are earning good money due to bitcoins rising price. But in day to day activity no one is using bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. Seen a video clip on bbc where cso answer to your question is no one at least in my country.

If you check my activity here in this forum, then you can find that I have logged in every single day for the past 12 months. There may be very few users here in this forum with such a consistent activity. Not bragging about it... just wanted to make my point. There may be others like me, but I am yet to meet anyone.

I don't do crypto transactions everyday, but my activity here should earn me a special place.

That's cool, but I don't want to use bitcoin for every day because it will still have to convert to Fiat to pay for (even in systems like bitpay will convert your bitcoin to Fiat), and it is inconvenient for me.

What is inconvenient about Bitpay automatically converting your bitcoin into fiat?

You're not the only one who use the bitocin on dialy basis.I also live with crypto currency and making huge profit from it. I mostly accept bitcoins as payment method from my client. I have BitPay Card – Visa® Prepaid Debit card. I use this card almost everywhere Restaurant, paying bill, Buying stuff online.I think not only me and you everyone in this world who is aware about the bitcon and crypto currency use bitcoin on daily basis

Does Bitpay automate your tax report for your crypto holdings/spendings?

Good question, I am not really sure tbh. However when you have money on your account you dont have bitcoins. When you send bitcoins to the debit card, it auto exchanges for USD so that your balance doesnt change. So I dont think you would have to report anything unless you have a business account. I could be wrong though, they haven't sent me any paper work or a W2 or anything like that.

Yeah, but they depend on ETH taking off. Right now BTC is the only real currency I see that is practical for day-to-day use. Everything else only changes hands within the cryptosphere.
