We event don't know it that is a real name or maybe a name for an organization because no matter how I look at it the cryptocurrency system and its security is not something that only one person can make and work. But I believe its name symbolizes his origin, japan were cryptocurrency is widely accepted since it is where it was really embraced by people at its early stage.

As with every invention of the universe, we know exactly who is the person but in case of bitcoins no one know exactly who was that person. Many fake people aslo claim themselves to be Satoshi Nakamoto as the original person never showed up in public.
