I don't know him in the first place but some speculation says that this are the core of bitcoin who provide the network.. i hope they can help the transaction speed and lessen the transaction fee.
Actually he's the one who made bitcoin and try to read a couple part of the whitepaper https://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf his name is on it.

Whoever he/she is, I really hope they are alive and seeing the great success of the product they designed. He/She deserves it and knowing technical people it would be a great joy for them (The 7B$ would be nice too  Wink)
But the saddest part is that others are saying that he's already dead.  Undecided

The mystery will take us from the Land of the Rising Sun all the way across the world to a small Californian town named Temple City and then back across the Pacific Ocean to an Australian doctor. The now iconic white paper, which was published on networking P2P Foundation, said the elusive Nakamoto lived in Japan and was born in 1975.

Well rather than who is Satoshi Nakamoto, I personally focus more on his strategy and the aim that he wanted to create and has created until a point, hope he is alive though  Smiley

I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't even exist.
He is existing and this is his account here in forum https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/satoshi-3

It's a mystery to say on who really Satoshi Nakamoto is. But the closest person that others are guessing that he is Hal Finney.

Hal has the first transaction made in the blockchain so that's also plausible and close that he is Satoshi but he didn't admit that he's the creator of bitcoin.

Well this makes the btc even more attractive as there is not any ceo or founder so governments won`t have the chance to shut it down and put him in prison. Interesting.

The ‘creator’ of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, is the world’s most elusive billionaire (worth more than $7B as of November 2017). Very few people outside of the Department of Homeland Security know Satoshi’s real name. In fact, DHS will not publicly confirm that even THEY know the billionaire’s identity.

I Am Satoshi Nakamoto
January 14, 2018, 05:36:57 PM
How many of you really want to know who is Satoshi Nakamoto ?

I am Moses ! BitcoinMoses. I will give you a clue. People say no body knows who is Satoshi Nakamoto ? This is incorrect. There many people in the Bitcoin community, the  developers and  few Bitcoin traders also know the real Satoshi Nakamoto. They won't open their mouth and say that they know Satoshi Nakamoto because they themselves are the adversary of Satioshi Nakamoto what they themselves think. They scared of Satoshi Nakamoto because they have committed a serious crime against Satoshi Nakamoto. If Satoshi Nakamoto tell the truth to the media most of these Bitcoin community leaders  will cover their face and few will commit suicide and few will be arrested by the government's secret service but Satoshi Nakamoto is kind of person he has forgiven their sin unconditionally but no one confess and receive mercy of Satoshi Nakamoto. Satoshi Nakamoto is requesting to all those Cypherpunks and governments agent to repent their sin and receive the forgiveness of Satoshi Nakamoto. Satoshi Nakamoto does not need any Bitcoin or glory for his invention Bitcoin and Blockchain technology. He is busy with his new project to reduce poverty from the world forever by his new invention. You people those who are Bitcoin greedy gremlins, leave Satoshi alone otherwise he will reveal himself and   you will regret. He suppose not reveal his identity ever. Now if you disturb Satoshi Nakamoto further he will come out and he will really publish the Autobiography of Satoshi Nakamoto;  "Search and ye shall find him"

I think it isn't a name of a real person and it is just a virtual name for the organization behind this currency. With this virtual name they can easily trade just like normal people without any trouble. Block chain is a complex idea which isn’t related to just a one person. Satoshi Nakomoto is just a virtual nam and it isn’t related to a real person.

So, possible scenarios:

1. Satoshi is a group of people. Subscenario 1: Founded by some powerful entity, to create an experiment or destroy banking system. Or make drug trafficking easier.
2. Satoshi is dead. He didn't really knew that bitcoin might have such success, he died before seeing it growing so much and that's all.
Subcenario 1: Satoshi was killed because of Bitcoin.
3. Satoshi is affraid of Bitcoin and how it turned up.
4. Satoshi is a person that has no life other than programming (21.000.000% nerd) and he creates things under different identities. Maybe was behind Napster too.
5. Satoshi is ET or AI or GOD or S8TN
Thanks for this wonderful information. Smiley

Satoshi Nakamoto is the name found on the original Bitcoin paper: Page on bitcoin.org. It's a male Japanese name but there are no records of his identity prior to the creation of Bitcoin and his interactions with the community faded in 2010 with no communication since. The release of Bitcoin is speculated by some to be a collaborative effort with Nakamoto possibly being the name for a group of people.

Whoever he is, I believe that Satoshi Nakamoto is dead. His last online activity was in 2010 and his coins are lying there in those wallets since 2009. We may never find-out the real identity of Satoshi Nakamoto.
Nobody really know who satoshi nakamoto is. I disagree on you. I guess satoshi nakamoto is not dead. He was just hiding in area of the country japan because he really just wanted to help everyone who really needed this. Satoshi nakamoto is I think a group of people that really qwant to help manh people who really need this kind of transaction. I hope someday, we know who satoshi nakamoto really is because I just wanted to thank him or her or them to creating this becsuse it is really a big help to many people.

Do you think that then nobody of his family/ institutions he would have let them know that their is something he is creating this and it is stored their. It could also means that who ever it may be will keep it till the time their is no requirement to sell and do not think that the future is over. Unless till that moment I think it will be kept in the wallet itself.

maybe he has his reasons plus I don't personally know him, neither do everybody. but because of what he came up with, bitcoin, a decentralized system, many people are actually being helped by this. from the moment he came up with bitcoin and until now that people are benefitting from this, its actually a success.

There are people who do not need the world to know them. They only need people to know about their success. And what brought them to the world? That's what I think, just how they know.

Finally someone who gets it.
If you are developing something and you plan on getting rich from it. Your making it for your damn self. Not doing it for others.
Your quality will suffer MASSIVELY along side. Because you can always make improvements, for more of a price.

Make something once, make something perfect, make something that changes the world. Don't make it for your own agenda.
When you hold the door open for someone, are you that person who gets mad when the other does not say thank you?
You only held that door open so you could get recognized for your effort. You didn't do it to help the other person.
Let that sink in a bit.

If that's even his name. Just read the bitcoin wiki on him and I'm amazed. Nobody knows him.

Long time passed since he last posted in here. Why? "Busy"? I don't think so. He was active when bitcoin needed support but since the slashdot...
Also, it seems has knowledge in many areas, especially economy. He doesn't act like the average human. Not taking advantage out of his creation, leaving without telling anything. Is he even a single person or a group?

How can someone create something so great and not stepping out to get the credit?
good job. Thank you
