I think he is a billionaire anyway. He/she has good reasons not to show up in public, because once you show up - some government would find a way for you to pay huge taxes, because what country doesn't want some extra hundreds of millions? And I think things can even get worse than that. Bitcoin might be illegal in your country, so then you might go to jail for creating it.

No doubt it's Satoshi who had invented bitcoin. In my view he is holding millions of bitcoin effigy he would sell afyer few years when price will reach more then $1000. So that he could become the next billionaire. Our might be he us thinking that if he reveals the truth they he might get arrested because if violation of government rules
Don't think so, if he had intention of being billionaire he may have sold it few years back when price was over $1000. He like to stay anonymous as well as its also better for all bitcoin holders that he stay anonymous and never moves his bitcoins.

Base on the bitcoin experts here in bitcoin world, Mr. Nakamoto Satoshi is the real founder of bitcoin, Now for whatever reason why he/she is not showing himself/herself to the public in bitcoin community is we really don't know. All we know that, is bitcoin helped many people who are totally became hopeless in their lives and now they already survive because of it.
I think it's not anything so unpredictable like that, Satoshi is probably someone who had believe in the concept of digital coin and made that, And after that the project went probably above what Satoshi himself imagined, Regarding the privacy part I guess this is the choice he/she made, not our place to intrude.

He is the founder of Bitcoin, and he likely won't show in public because he is the creator of a $10b value currency, and this means a lot of people would want to get their hands on him for one reason or another. Might be political, might be criminal.He might be a billionaire, but a ton of governments would want to get him, and criminal orgs would equally want him.
