Yes, those who are the quietest (about the price) are making the most accurate calls.  You don't have to call a price every week.  You just had to be right about april, july and december.

Who do I pay attention to in the speculation subforum? Nobody. This place is more of a comic relief than anything else.

Bingo. Post of the year.

-MatCat sometimes right but also wrong Many times

I am mostly right in big ways and often wrong in little ways.

You won't find any posts within the past two months that disprove this statement. I was saying donkeys ago that bottom would be $380 (you will find multiple posts I made stating this, when nobody else was), and I placed heavy bets on it...at $391.....(cos I am fkn stupid dick that doesn't believe in watering down my profits with staggered tranches)...turns out I was $20 out.......at least for now.

Only time where I was cheer leading totally wrong side off trade (with no skin in game) was Dec $500 - $700. I was butt-hurt and inexperienced.

I have been long since $486 (20BTC), and am anticipating further rises, with real test coming at $580.

I have not decided whether I am now bull or bear, still need to get a feel of things.

MatTheCat: So badass he uses animals as units of time.

Haha this is cracking me up.

Also, MatTheCat is self-proclaimed "butt-hurt and inexperienced" in Dec. That was a whopping two months ago.

Masterluc is good but he often looks like twat when he is trying to influence his followers to trade in direction he wants them to do.

Rpietilla is bit of psycho but is worth listening as he did incorporated himself with a group of wealthy bitcoiners that have power of moving the market.

TERA is not bad for some short trades but he is too "pussy" for my taste, I like traders with balls, he doesn't seem to have much of them Cheesy

Masterluc is often really spot on with his analysis. If you follow his calls you will be able to profit 9 out of 10 times. He doesn't always tell everything he knows and thinks though, so you have to read between the lines with him a little. Can't really blame him though for protecting his own secrets and profits. Wink

Right now I'm following no one NO ONE because I think bitcoin is fucking dead we're going to see $200. But so far I think the most accurate from my constant observation and i profited from their advice are:

-RPIETELA
-GIGA
-TERA
-Smoothie - although I disagree with him about bitcoin $5000 by 2014, I have a large bet with him about it
-The dude that has a bear wearing a suit

I see a lot of speculation here and a bunch of threads where people have been doing it for a long time.

It would be great to have some kind of "speculator review" where we can see who has proven to be the most accurate over time.

Who do you pay attention to?

rpietila
TERA

and of course

Me.
