All these HYPES website disappear with investors money at will, cloud mining can take time before running with people's BTC.
I believe scam investment websites have been getting increased regularly which shows that they keep on profiting by running with others money. Now gambling is getting more attention from users for which scams on gambling websites might happen.
When a gambling sites is operating profitably, they do not need to scam people as they want to have a continuous profit with their business, and nowadays people are already smarter than the past, so I guess the incident of being scammed with be lessen and more people will be coming in to gamble and have fun without being scam.Getting into gambling is worse than getting scammed over a cloud mining website or so. While for the cloud mining websites you need to pay for packages of "hashing speed", in gambling you can lose your money in a split second. I would rather lose $50 than $5000.

I never fully understood what's happening with the cloud mining sites--is it like throwing your bitcoin into a black box and they tell you that you're renting mining power? And the black box is the Ponzi engine? I do understand that these cloud mining sites have ripped many people off, but I'm just not up to speed as to the mechanism by which they do this.
Cloudfare is one of them, right? Did they turn out to be a scam yet?

It depends on when they go down, but it has a decent chance of becoming a domino effect. If one or two go down, the rest might follow.
I'd expect to see some lawsuits though.
These things can not be predicted accurately. If you lose money in any of these, the only person that you should rightfully blame is yourself. You get led on by greed and fall into 'suspicious services' in no time, 'just a fool and his money'. This is why you should stay away from cloud mining, ponzi's, web wallets and such.

Lets talk about cloud mining .in this case u have to buy hashrates and they will give u bitcoins as long as they are earning profits otherwise they will not give u any payments.
Yes i think lossing them in gambling is better that lossing them in cloud mining..because its only upto you ..i no more trust any of the cloud mining or any other site like coince.com..they all gonna run away sooner that later..
yes i also agree with you, and specially for those people who have no experience in cloud mining. in gambling there is always a chance to recover your lost money,

That ponzi scheme is becoming very big, and it will explode anytime. Because if many people join that scheme, they need a lot more people to continue with the site working and at any time now it will crash and many people will lose their money as usual...

when yhe odds are for the high profit or hogh returns there is just one human i trust its me. i can not relay on some cloudmining shits or some hypes sites for my servival i never every tried then except of hashocean and scrypt.cc but i did not lost much in them. gambling is far more better than this atleast we try our luck on them

yes cloud mining is the best place for people to run away with you bitcoins but investment and some trading and exchange site might do the same so be careful of where your bitcoins are and how you trust.

- those who are scam from the beginning like ponzi schemes aka doublers and cloud miners. these are obvious kind of scam and will get caught in the start before you invest if you do the research
- the other one is the businesses that have a bad or no plan for their business. this can be a service or something like a gambling site. or even a weak security that leads to hack.
this is also detectable but a bit harder. you have to look for signs.

There re tons of these doubles promising high returns, these emerge and die on a daily basis.

There is only one company I might risk doing some cloud mining in and that is because they sell gold and silver bullion as well so that is what I might do in the coming year but I need to see if it is cost-effective for me to open a mining package with that company or not, although I buy gold and silver from them monthly.

Not just cloud minings there are some ICOs also that are potential scams.I won't take any name here but I would warn members to do a through research before investing your coins

Unfortunately any excahnge platform can run away with peoples bitcoins.
That`s why bitcoin will never be mass adopted and will never become a popular global currency.
Any bitcoin related business can turn into a scam.
I don't agree that just because some websites turn scam it would not let bitcoin to become a popular global currency, because these scams and etc are done in real life too but it does not affect any coin, it just proves the company or anyone doing it bad.
Scams are given and in real life yeah it is happening. But most of the sites that are going to run away with the people's bitcoin are those cloud mining and hyip's scam sites. Greediness will lead a good website to turn away the bitcoin of the people, but there are trusted websites that just want to give good service to the people and make their name shine because of it.

Not heard of that site but those site running with Double your money, doubler,trippler etc will not gonna last. Also those with daily percentage return of your money. Be careful always with this scam alert tag line.
Well there have been several multiplier schemes in bitcoin and many more in real life as well who run away with their people's money and are never heard of again. I suggest forum users to steer clear of such scamming attempts because there will always be some newbie trying to run advertisements in the forum luring them into investing money there.
Such things are in rampant popularity in the bitcoin community and only deprives the name of the coin as a whole.
