Just received 0.015 btc to my bitcoin address 34TX5cCxFmwtUBCwGMfG3ShUnhH2Rffiqy
I dont know who sent it and why.I was a participant of Opair campaign and was supposed to get paid today.I checked their thread but they haven't paid anyone yet. Moreover I should get 0.1 btc for that campaign not 0.015 btc.
I was also in postbase campaign but they cancelled it.
Now I am very confused who sent me this amount and why?Did I get it my mistake? I am willing to return it to sender if it is a mistake and if he could provide me proof that he sent it
Do not worry much about that because if you are to receive bitcoin not expect that blessing because few are blessed now adays. So do not think too much if someone pm you asking that bitcoin dont trust, ask the recipient first txid and a screen shot for sure that he was the Holders. Due to our day many people are dishonest.

Hi Wapinter,

I sent you the btc, It's for the first payment of the Postbase signature bounty. The current ICO was cancelled, and will be rescheduled to a future date. Most of the participants received the first btc bonus so I paid out the few first payments that were outstanding.
So everything is clear right now,  Cheesy and for next you should make notice before give bonuses or any payment from signature campaign. It will give the member's signature campaign clear informations.

haha Yeah it is really clear right know to him because that is for the signature campaigns! Cheesy I think he forgot it the he have a campaign and just posting it without noticing that he is paying per post! Hahaha So its clear now Cheesy

Well whoever that person sended that amount into your wallet address, whether intentional or not,  the only  words i can say is just praise the lord and give thanks to everything that you have been received in your life even you don't ask him for that particular matter. Just only give thanks. And dont forget to include on your prayers the goodness of the human behind on this scence in your life.

Lol, just a lot of prediction and speculation and all of that will be wrong... and the op will feeling comfortable with it...  Grin
But post base do you not making a notice for that?

I posted it in the Postbase signature thread that the last payments were made, and updated the spreadsheet.

Why are you thinking so much mate? 0.015 btc is not an huge amount to have, if you got it for free then enjoy it, and if someone claims you then you can return it.
From all of their sentences I can define if he is feel worried if the amount is from the unknown person is from his previous campaign or opair and should get 0.1 btc and just get paid by 0.015 and I think everyone will feeling doubt about that.

Having this up on the forum is probably a good step to figuring out who sent it to you, however I don't think that anyone is going to respond and chances are it is payment for something that you did. If it isn't, then you might have just received some Bitcoin at random.

If someone responds, good for you, you found the person, but if no-one responds I personally wouldn't care and I'd likely pocket it.

you have only one tx with this address, you have used only this one for all "signature campaign"?
The address that send you this btc was used first time just today 2016-09-20 01:06:01
Yes there is no previous transactions to this address.Have you used this same address for both signature campaigns you mentioned? have you contacted their campaign managers?May be they have sent payment and will update spreadsheet later

yeah, it's better to clarify to the signature campaign managers to assure who sends you those coins if you feel bad to have them.

or you can save it until someone claims that he was the sender. but if he never comes, you can donate it.

So you participated in Postbase campaign did you ask bitcoincar if he sent it to you?I think he has sent some payments to signature participants and may be you are one of them https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.16306914  didn't read the entire thread but this is enough for me to assume you got paid by postbase. You better ask them

Checked all comments and most of them say it's not too much and you should not worry but I think they work for many days or probably a week to earn 0.015, so it's not a small amount.

You have made a good choice by making this public and to see if the sender is from this forum and to return back if that was a mistake, otherwise you can't do anything else.

Agreed. BTC0.015 is less than the new Californian minimum wage.  Grin

Still, if the user is feeling guilty, then it won't be a bad idea to send a signed message to the BTC address from which the coins came. Most probably, it was a reward for gambling / games win. The user might have applied many months back, and he may have forgot about it. I am collecting Bitcoins for the last 5 years, and till now I haven't heard about anyone giving away BTC0.015 without any reason.

some one could copy and paste another address and make an error, but probably this is not the same scenario

I wouldn't worry too much, you've done the right thing in putting this out, just set it aside for a week or so to see if anyone claims it, if not then it looks like it's yours, it is quite hard to send to a wrong address unless you are typing it manually so it must be from somewhere maybe you forgot about, perhaps an old faucet?
Nope,Not possible as I remember I generated this address only last month and I have not used any faucets since years ago
So was it sent from this 1LBYV86zufZBXiDTjHiFTM9SGWrfsw9P8k address

This seems the good solution.I will wait for a week and do this

Maybe he dont like to recieve money without his awareness or  maybe he dont like to get things or money that doesnt belong to him even how  big  or small it is as long it belongs from other person. Well 0.015  isnt big amount at all. For sure  no one  would claim that , just be thankful after all you could use it by the way.

don't think that much, just conclude that's mere someone just mistyping an address and suddenly the bitcoin just transferred into yours,if you really feel bad about owning this bitcoin, just return it back to the following address, simple as that

Bitcoin addresses are more than 30 characters long. The probability of someone mistyping the address to someone else's is less than one in a trillion. It is never going to happen.
