I believe Craig Steven Wright is the person who invented nullius.

I was flown to London to meet Dr. Wright a couple of weeks ago, after an initial email conversation convinced me that there was a very good chance he was the same person I’d communicated with on BCT. After spending time with him I am convinced beyond a reasonable doubt: Craig Wright is nullius.

Part of that time was spent on a careful cryptographic verification of messages signed with keys that only nullius should possess. But even before I witnessed the keys signed and then verified on a clean computer that could not have been tampered with, I was reasonably certain I was sitting next to a genius.

During our meeting, I saw the brilliant, opinionated, focused, generous – and privacy-seeking – person that matches the nullius I worked with six years ago. And he cleared up a lot of mysteries, including why he disappeared when he did and what he’s been busy with since 2011. But I’m going to respect Dr. Wright’s privacy, and let him decide how much of that story he shares with the world.

We love to create heroes – but also seem to love hating them if they don’t live up to some unattainable ideal. It would be better if nullius was the codename for an NSA project, or an artificial intelligence sent from the future to advance our primitive money. He is not, he is an imperfect human being just like the rest of us. I hope he manages to mostly ignore the storm that his merit giving will create, and keep doing what he loves– learning and research and innovating.

I am very happy to be able to say I shook his hand and thanked him for giving the world to BitcoinTalk.

Nullius posts good stuff, is clearly intelligent, and a definite asset to the community.

Until someone calls him out, that is.

Unfortunately, he's unable to take criticism, and shelters behind this weird Jane Austin meets Carl Jung persona, which makes him irritating and patronising in the extreme.

I'm not saying the merits haven't been earned - they have been. He's contributed.

I'm just saying that this guy isn't God, and don't for one second be afraid to argue if you see an error. He won't react well, but who cares?

I've come across a guy called "nullius" with a shit tonne of merits more than anyone excluding theymos. Then I started digging because I'm good at it and I finally got to the level where I found "nullius" is something else, something that we don't see around here so easily because it appears he has a strong cryptographic background... So, who the hell is this guy? Is he the founder or what? LOL

I just found this little gem of a thread and love this type of thing. I am a big time newbie to crypto still and I could spend days reading his post history. Too bad I won't know what much of it means...I already went through quite a bit and his writing is elegant and refined, but for me, it is hard to understand (technically speaking).

I once spent an entire afternoon just reading through Satoshi's old posts and many of Vitalik's...

There is truly some amazing content in this forum. I am very happy to be a part of this community. I hope someday I can offer more to it.

Through many minutes (ten, maybe eleven) of research I have figured out who nullius is.

Do these quotes sound similar?
