MyEtherwallet is safe as long as you will use their site using a clean PC without any virus or trojan that can steal your ETH private keys. This is also applicable to crypto wallets apps for Windows or Mobiles. Never log your private keys to an infected device.
Myetherwallet can be used to store tokens received from drop and bounty. For something more serious it is better to use Ledger or Trezor.

i am using and i do believe that most of the people use it as it is safe and secure.you need to protect your private key to make it secured.if you loss it your account will be lost without any doubt.so be careful about this.

I use myetherwallet daily. Because it has very high security. But it also has limitations on accounts. If you lose the Private Key you will lose the account permanently
