Who will take the initiative to become the voice and take on the role of being the chosen representative of BTC?

The People.

The people who use Bitcoin are the voice and representation of Bitcoin. One of the fundamental principles of Bitcoin is decentralization of control. This literally means that no one person or entity owns, controls, represents, or directs Bitcoin's future. If that's what you're looking for you can engage yourself in the main fiat currencies, each of which is controlled by a single central bank.

oh i see, by this information, ive learn from it, now i know the things that always coming out in my mind, thanks to OP who created this topic and answered by our members here at our forum. although i want to create a topic like this which i didnt do and decide to search only to gather/learned from reading from those useful threads and topics to be found the answer which has no information like this. so we all bitcoin holders/users are the voice/representative of bitcoin right?

The role of a chosen Messiah or Savior to help steer the road to a Crypto Future

Bitcoin do not need a representative or a speaker, as a user or bitcoin holder you can become one who will defend bitcoin to those people who criticizing and ruining the image of bitcoin. Bitcoin can survive without the help of that it keeps stronger an stronger in a long run.

Easy. The users always. The point of having something decentralized is to be represented by a mass. Once we have a single representation then what's the point of BTC. The very point is to decentralize the power and prevent corruption. Just look at the 2008 financial crisis. The banking system failed and what's worst is that none of the executives were ever charged or jailed. No one took responsibility. Bitcoin is an alternative system. We no longer have to put our faiths on the hands of corrupt banking officials or the government for that matter.

If your looking for a person or group of people the will actually represent Bitcoin, just look around you, we are all representing Bitcoin, we are the voice of Bitcoin, we are the hand of Bitcoin.

Being decentralized, no one single entity are controlling Bitcoin, that's the best thing about Bitcoin.

Who will Represent Bitcoin?

That's a good question. So far no one has been deemed worthy to fill the vacuum left behind by Satoshi Nakamoto. When people think of microsoft they think of Bill Gates. When people think of amazon they think of Jeff Bezos. There is no face or identity that goes with bitcoin. Crypto has no real spokesperson or figurehead leader to represent it. Over the long run perhaps this is a good thing. The crypto culture could grow to become more about ideas than a single person who came up with an idea. Cryptos identity is left open to be defined, rather than subject to some type of preconceived bias.

Bitcoin lacking a true leader could give it a decentralized format of equals which in ways could mirror moreso a decentralized republic than a totalitarian top down regime. It is possible that's the way Satoshi would have liked it.

Why do you think Bitcoin need a representative? It is not a company or government, so it actually doesn't need it. If a government has problems with Bitcoin-related companies, I think CEOs of such companies can defend themselves.

We don't need anyone else apart from the core devs, they are doing a great job and like you said what makes him think bitcoin even need a representative? It's been doing fine even without them yet and so we need not institute any group of people who will be representing it.

Who cares, Bitcoin has been out here for almost 5 years and never had to be represented. It's interesting enough without someone having to represent the Bitcoin.

Reflecting on this, keep in mind only one thought - for some reason the creator of the bitcoin concealed his identity. Bitcoin should be the property of the whole world, so I understand the idea of the so-called Satoshi. To distribute bitcoin, you can and should use the world's advertising space - billboards, newspapers, TV, radio, the Internet, so that the whole world speaks about it immediately, and not a specific person.
It's all words. Someone ran the new York agreement. Of course there are people who are making their adjustments in the life of bitcoin. I'm not sure that you can 100% control the bitcoin but each action can have big consequences for the entire bitcoin community. I do not support permanent fork but they happen. Maybe we are just pawns in someone else's game?

Bitcoin don't need a representative, it is a decentralized currency not controlled by anyone, and that's one of its best features.

Bitcoin's community is in fact its real representative.

That's the deal really. We're in a decentralized system and no need for any real person to represent the system. The ecosystem is already decentralized and it should stay like that.

Representatives are for real world companies.

Actually the indirect meaning of this question is the answer towards it because we the people are the only representative rather than us there is no one we post we create we earn we care !

if you ask like that, then I will answer ETH. because the most popular altcoin ETH, it is not likely to be a core coin like Bitcoin and being a tough competitor.

I think Bitcoin does not need representation, because bitcoin is a decentralized currency so it can not be controlled by anyone, and that is one of its best concepts ,,

and the bitcoin connectivity itself which is representative ..

The purpose of representation is to facilitate change.

It seems that a super majority of the miners working with a bunch of key exchanges and merchant payers to achieve a consensus (New York Agreement) on segwit2x is a form of representation.  The developers strongly opposing this direction is another form of representation.  I suspect the first form will end up carrying more weight but that is just my supposition.

It does show whats going on in Bitcoin representation at this time though.

no one represents bitcoin, buddy
because bitcoin is independent, no one can control it, so bitcoin does not need a messiah-like representative in the history of the Christians as you say.

I think we don't need a hero who will represent bitcoin, it's decentralized anyway. Worry not about the future of Bitcoin for it is the future itself, countries are adopting and legalizing bitcoin. The community itself is the voice of bitcoin, so just put a little faith on Bitcoin. Just think about it, if someone takes over or represent the Bitcoin then everything will change favoring the representative or it's group so let's just leave it as is.
