This summer brings Worry as three of his top players in Salah, Trent and Van Dijk’s contract will expire. Will they renew or be sold as no deals has been discussed ? As the summer is fast approaching.

All these guys (Salah, Trent and Van Dijk) are good but I still want to pick my best between Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah. Salah has contributed his best in Liverpool and his name will not soon be forgotten, while Virgil van Dijk has been very impressive as well, despite being a centre-back, he has built that name, not too many centre-backs name is known like his.

He is the only defender to win UEFA Men's Player and almost won Ballon d'Or among many other good achievements to his name. I think he is my best pick even as Salah may not stay at Liverpool again if the club wants, he is not getting younger and might want to join the league of European players playing in SPL.

Liverpool has been on a really impressive form under Arne Slot this season, it’s not even looking like he’s a new coach the team just clicked right from the first game Spot On.
Though he inherited a good squad but not all coaches get to make good use of it.

The Best thing for Liverpool will be to renew all three but in a case where it’s not possible or doesn’t happen

If you were to consider who to keep who will it be? Whose absence will affect the team more?

I’ll agree with Danny Murphy who said “Van Dijk is the most important and he makes everyone better”. He improves everyone around him and shows great leadership on and off the pitch.
Obviously Mo Salah is great asset, but Liverpool scores without him but in the long run his absence if not filled will be a blow.
Trent is also a huge asset to Liverpool, the creativity and crosses he brings to the team efforts will be greatly missed but the solidity of the defence is Van Dijk who has formed a strong partnership with Konate. He has a commander effect at the back line.

A team can score goals but if you’re not able to defend your goal, it’ll all be a waste. Look at Tottenham who keeps scoring but can’t defend.
Let’s remember Liverpool at the time of Suarez who formed a great partnership with Sturridge, they were scoring lots of goals with Suarez as top scorer and assists but the defense line was poor and it cost them the SEASON.

So Keeping Van Dijk is the Most important thing for Liverpool.

I might say this but correct that you post it in Premier League thread so can get answers too, And of course, with Arne Slot in charge, Liverpools have done very well this season. And keeping the team in good shape, of course going forward will be very important. If you had to choose who you would choose from among Salah, Van Dijk, and Trent, you had to admit probably not replaceable Van's presence Dijk.

Salah is a great asset. And his finishing was outstanding. But Liverpool showed they are still too good at keeping their defense tight without plus Creativity and delivery from the right flank by Trent was massive. Ultimately, any team requires a solid defensive foundation, and for Liverpool, that starts and ends with Van Dijk. Leadership Ability to organise support and cooperation with Konate That makes Liverpool's defense one of the strongest. And they without some strong defender like Van Dijk are in danger to repeat mistakes of the past, as you say, during Suarez time. They can have everything they want. However, failing to protect themselves will cost them in the long run. At the end of the day, keeping Van Dijk would create stability. And stability is something any team needs. Whatever you want to win the championship In my opinion, losing it would be twice as impactful compared to the other two.
