We don't know the true meaning behind that post but all of us are asking for positive right?
Maybe he like to troll or maybe there is a real reason behind it. We really don't know, no one knows.

He's an unpredictable man, I like Elon Musk the way he is.

We don't have any idea on what is playing on his mind and no one if he's part of any gang. I guess you have thought of it before with those 'signals' that are being offered everywhere.

I don't see any "Ethereum" tweets over the past couple of days. So the account that posted something might be fake.
Nope, it's his real account.

This is the tweet --> https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1123033196642201600

I have no idea why Elon musk is tweeting things like :-
" Etherum "
Which actually was retweeted many time and surge in Bitcoin was seen , but one question :-

Why ?

Is he a member of some gang looking forward to boost and control the market at his will
Or
Is he paid by someone to do so ?
Whatever be the reason this is plane weird , come on just one word ?
Sometimes he is talking about the Bitcoin sometimes dogecoin , what's wrong man ?
Does anyone know.
This is an official Elon Musk's account: https://twitter.com/elonmusk?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor. I don't see any "Ethereum" tweets over the past couple of days. So the account that posted something might be fake. It's a very typical thing that fake accounts of his are asking for Ethereum and scamming people. I think he even made a post about it once with an anime girl or something. If you're talking about his recent post, in case it's true it can also be a reference to those scammers using his name, you know. The guy is weird but also doing pretty important stuff for the planet. In any case, nothing to be hyped about.

Why ?

Straight answer? Because #covfefe.
Because whenever celebrities tweet something they paste from somewhere else, or when they spill something onto the keyboard, or just high or tired so they don't make any sense, all the internet goes crazy searching for meanings and clues, maybe even the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything

Trust me, whenever he shouts a name of any coin publicly, it means he is gonna shit those coins off his pants and the coin actually prepares for a big dip. To what I currently see, Ethereum is also preparing for something weird - just the way he announced it. Bitcoin rally had nothing noticeable in regards to this public announcement as Tether alone is enough to pump it up.

Musk has millions of followers and tweeting this kind of tweet even a single word makes someone curious to it especially those who are not a crypto enthusiasts and for me its a good way to introduces to masses he is an investor and has wide influence to many people and Im sure he is also investing in cryto especially in btc I guess.

Elon Musk has too much free time on his hands and he likes to troll.  He doesn't work the 80-100 hour weeks that he likes you to believe.  Maybe if he spent more time on Tesla instead of trolling his company wouldn't be in complete shambles.  What I don't like about Musk is that he gets too much credit when his engineers and workers are doing most of the work.

If you are an investor a certain coin and you are quite popular, I think this is the best way to let other people that you are holding a coin and they might do the same hence making the demand of that coin higher, just my opinion though. Other reasons? I guess he's just trolling around, he might see this as a  dead dear in the pool, he's just having fun.

Is he a member of some gang looking forward to boost and control the market at his will

You're going a bit too over the top there. I'm not saying that he's trolling in this case, but this dude trolls a lot. I mean, the dude has "Former CEO of Dogecoin" like last month. There's a decent chance that he's just having fun on Twitter.

Maybe, he has been making several statements that contradict each other. This means he's to express something but the end thing seems to be the words that weren't relative to the beginning. From this more or less it is a true fact that he's having fun on Twitter.

The same thing why are you asking this question, maybe he's curious on how others would react or comment if he made a tweet about Ethereum.

It's only one word and he also said jk because others might take it seriously you're just thinking too much from his tweet. Bitcoin surging and his tweet most likely have no connection it's just well timed imo.

I think any one can promote bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies because it an open industry and musk as an investor will do any thing to promote the market for huge profits from his investment. The market is involving and at that the collective efforts of all will help grow the market and Twitter is one great platform to do that.

He might have future plans and it's a good thing that he notices Ethereum. Who knows? He might invest or have it for his businesses. Let's just wait and see the things that he's going to do. Some doesn't care because they don't know who Elon Musk is but it's an interesting thing for those who know a lot about him.
These celebrities rarely invest in cryptocurrencies and just advertise them for fun or other reasons which is why it is pointless falling for their tweets. Who knows if Musk invested in crypto or not? Let him tweet whatever he wants people.

Why would we care about the post of this people specially when they are just posting some stuff?
I mean some of us are really being triggered because of their post.

~snip~
He posted Ethereum not BTC it is just a coincident.

First, I don't think he is a member or something and pretty sure he is not paid by someone just to promote. Let McAfee do that.  Grin

Second, I don't care what he tweeted because it's his right. Let him freely speak his mind and I'm sure if he said negative or positive things about some coin, they someone will call him out and we might know what's the reason behind.

It is true that uncertainty like this can be confusing, but I think they could be paid to talk about other coins, and that's their way.

Why we should be confused by what other people says in their twitter account? To be honest, I do not even care what Elon Musk said and what he is going to say next as it wont affect anything for my trading activity or any activities related to cryptocurrency investment. He is free to say anything and I have no ideas why we should care why he say the thing.

We don't actually know why he sometimes talk about just a certain thing. He is free to speak his mind. I doubt if ever he is being paid to talk about t or if it is his way to put a hype in the market, he might be a bag holder.

Take a look at Elon Musk and the way he is managing with Tesla's problems. Tesla is not bringing any kind of revenue and it is still alive only because of money, they get from governments, stock emission and some other kinds of loans. And every time everything is getting bad with tesla he announce a flamethrower (or some other geeky shit) to draw  the community attention on it. I bet that back in 2017 he could only tweet th word "Bitcoin" during another stock emission and get some free money.
