Why Please tell me what you think !!
How can you determine if the rest have come from africa? In fact that most of icos are creating nonsense project and if you are seeing the ico that aims to provide the blockchain to the africa and that's only a click bait dude. Africa still lack of manufacture to adopt the blockchain.

I am an African and I can personally testify that many people has fully embraced Cryptocurrencies here but the fact is that we are mostly consumers and not producers if Cryptocurrencies and that is why you don't see much ICOs out of Africa.

Sometimes it is just about the general tevh awareness and media reach. So maybe Africans have not got the reach about blockchain technology either by media or social media.

The Media are Paid by politician to condemn crypto and blockchain because of their  personal interest .. 99% of local banks in Africa are  own by politicians .. Africa Politician hate Transparency. We all know Blockchain  is there  for Transparency and fairness .

I think because a very small percentage of the population of Africa has the Internet and therefore there is no possibility to buy cryptocurrency

You are so wrong here. Africans have been embracing financial technology long before most other continents it is just that as a continent, the people and economies still have a lot of hurdles to overcome. We talk about adoption but we forget that not everybody on this planet has internet or even smartphones. In Africa, if you don't live in the developed areas, internet is very hard to obtain and that alone means they cannot connect to the network of crypto.

But they are extremely good at financial tech with mobile phones (non smart phones). Lots of people there are using mobile payments, even more than US people! So if some day Bitcoin can just give simple use with normal devices, Africans will be very fast to join.

Flash (FLASH) is a little-known cryptocurrency based on Scrypt, with a community in Venezuela and Africa. It uses mining to verify transactions and protect the network, but focuses on transaction speeds that can be performed in seconds. Flash marketing director James Hinton says that in the coming months about 800 outlets in Africa will start accepting FLASH cryptocurrency, which essentially means that they will also accept Bitcoins, Dash, Litecoin and Ethereum.

Do not compare the standard of living in developed countries of Europe, America and Asia and the standard of living in Africa where more than 90% of the population do not know what the Internet and cryptocurrency.
To Finance such projects from Africa, life in Africa itself needs to change dramatically.

I think crypto is currently embracing Africa, you know that the lowest economy in the whole world is Africa. I think if investment is very small from Africa, not because they disagree but because the velocity of money in Africa is very small. therefore I have seen many projects that compile Africa as an Economic land, so that the velocity of money there grows big.

This is related to the economy. They are very backward and cannot realize the next era. Usually only elites accept cryptocurrencies. Ordinary people know nothing about cryptocurrencies. This is related to the impact of the current cryptocurrency. They will buy a lot when Bitcoin is over $50,000.

It doesn't mean they aren't embracing blockchain technology but as you mention its probable the infrastracture that they need for the development. I'm sure of it that adoption is happening there and we just lack of resources on what's the real deal there right now.

If you are willing to learn more about Africa, then you will know that Africa is in a difficult situation, full of hunger and war, and only people in peaceful areas can enjoy crypto and bring happiness.

HODLing is an art, not just a word...
ICOs don't mean the countries are embracing the blockchain technology. in fact the more ICOs some country has the more it shows that there are more scumbags in that  country who don't have any interest in the blockchain technology and are instead interested in making fiat money from the newbies who fall for their scam.

as for Africans i believe they are the ones that have embraced blockchain technology and mainly bitcoin since the usage of bitcoin as a currency (the only true way to use it) is happening there more than anywhere else.
