Thank you. I did try once again with the change of Service URL and this time it did work. (The last time if just hung the application.)  I will create a new account on Electrum and then send what I have to that.

Many thanks for your extensive assistance.

I was using the seed from the blacked out third account. I never used the two accounts and there was no money in them and never backed them up.
You say that my seed uses BIP44 but that is not an option in Electrum. So I am even further confused.
It just means that it's using the standard derivation path for BIP44 which is the first option in Electrum when selecting the script type.
"Detect Existing Accounts" should be able to find it if it had/has transactions in it.

So Electrum didn't find any transactions even though it's that wallet's seed phrase...
Please check the 'Wallet Information' of that Bitcoin Wallet with Red icon, it's in "More Option" just below the 'Backup' button.
Take note of the "Wallet Configuration (m-n)" and "Derivation Strategy".
What version of Electrum are you using?

Also, when you restore it to Electrum, what does it show you after ticking "BIP39 seed" (below the seed phrase)?
Is it "BIP39 (checksum: ok)" or something else?
Because Electrum only unofficially supports BIP39 and it will enable you to create a wallet regardless of the seed phrase's validity.
If it is either "BIP39 (checksum: failed)" or "BIP39 (unknown wordlist)", you may have to double-check the seed phrase's words from the source itself.

If nothing works, just follow vv181's quote about changing the 'Wallet Service URL' in his previous reply and your bitcoin(dot)com wallet should be online again.

Are you perhaps using the seed phrase of "My BCH Wallet" and "My BTC Wallet" to restore it to Electrum?
Because the one with balance is the third wallet which does not share the same seed phrase as the default wallets.

You can get its seed phrase from:
  • Click the wallet. (with Red icon)
  • Click the settings icon at the upper-right hand side of the wallet.
  • Click "Backup", read and accept the warnings the its seed phrase will be displayed.

Use "Detect Existing Account" when restoring it to Electrum, it will work on standard derivation paths and other frequently used paths,
the fact that it didn't detected the first time means that the seed phrase you've entered has no funds in the first place.

Note: Bitcoin(dot)com wallet uses BIP44 despite it showing m/0/0 in the address path.

I tried using Electrum with the seed. I did. I used the seed and I tried... Nothing.
Balance 0

Is there not even any tx history?

Can you confirm the information from the bitcoin.com wallet at [your wallet name] > settings(power cog icon) > More Options > Wallet information, about Address Type, Derivation Strategy, and Extended Public Keys match with the imported seed on Electrum? On Electrum, you can see it on the toolbar, Wallet > Information.

If not, what does the info from bitcoin.com wallet shows?

There is no "Address." There is only the seed. The last seed I have is from a backup in March. The Windows Bitcoin.com program never displaces an address.
The address is derived from the seed, there is a way to see the address on that wallet.

Anyway, try to redo as I suggest above. I tried that the wallet generates a p2pkh address, and importing the seed onto the Electrum will work fine.

I found the old version 5.12 RC2 and v5.13-rc4 on Github I tried to use it seems both of them working but after creating a new wallet it stuck to generate new addresses.

So there is nothing we can do since it is an old version and Bitcoin.com stopped maintaining it.
And now it will not connect to the servers.

I see there is a work around for the issue,

As a workaround you can go to Settings -> [Your Wallet] -> More options -> Wallet Service URL -> and then change from https://bws.bitcoin.com/bws/api to https://bws.bitpay.com/bws/api
But still, I suggest you should use Electrum as a wallet.

The wallet is unmaintained, and some users also have a similar issue about the wallet is down(https://github.com/Bitcoin-com/Wallet/issues/597#issue-1188442182). You might want to use Electrum to store your bitcoin.

Alternatively, if you can find the derivation path of the Bitcoin.com wallet (that should be easy, given that the source code is open), and the wallet is using a BIP39 seed, you can manually import that seed into Electrum and set the derivation path in the "advanced" window.

There is no "Address" listed anymore. The area is empty. There is only the seed. The last seed I have is from a backup in March.  And now it will not connect to the servers.

The address generated from bitcoin.com wallet starts with 1, right?

This time try to redo it again but instead choosing detect existing account, select legacy (p2pkh).

I also get donations to my account and that QR code is in the hands of many. I don't know enough, but I seem to remember that while I could move what I have to Electrum, I would then be abandoning the donations that would go to an account I no longer have.

Are there any other options?
You will not lose your address(account) even if you move out to other wallets, just make sure you make a backup of your current recovery phrase.

I suggest you use Electrum.

You can try to import the recovery phrase into Electrum. On the Enter Seed page, put the recovery phrase, and check the BIP39 seed. Then on the derivation path set up page, try to click Detect Existing Accounts. Try it out, let's see if it works.

I did get Electrum and install it. I did put in the SEED.
BUT I do not see  "derivation path set up page, try to click Detect Existing Accounts" and I don't see my money. :-(

The only option is to import your backup to another wallet as suggested above and it seems that their wallet is generating with BIP39 so you should get the same addresses after you imported it to Electrum.

Take note it's not safe to use a wallet that is generated from another wallet so I suggest you instead of importing them to Electrum extract all private keys from https://iancoleman.io/bip39/ offline mode and sweep all private keys to your new wallet(Make a new wallet with Electrum).

Yes, the problem is I don't want to use a mobile app for this.

I could run the Bitcoin org Core, I guess but I really don't want to dedicate my processor capacity to that!

Are there any other options?

Meanwhile, have you tried this: How to import a regular wallet from Bitcoin.com Wallet v5.13 and below to Bitcoin.com Wallet 6.0+?

The link above suggests you upgrade to a newer wallet, but it seems it is only available on mobile.

Are you sure that the wallet is from Bitcoin.com?

I can't seem to find an installer for Windows 10 from Bitcoin.com they only have two options IOS and an Android app.

So it's weird that you have a Windows version of Bitcoin.com wallet.

Since you mention above that you have a backup seed why not try to install the bitcoin.com app to another device(Try on your phone) and import the backup seed?
You can follow this guide "Restore Bitcoin.com Wallet Guide"

Yes, this is a Windows 10 Bitcoin wallet... but it may be an old piece of code. Clicking on help give you this!

Your's is a legitimate observation. However. I am the network admin. There is no proxy server. I have not made any changes to the router in the last six months amd there are no blocks in the routes to anywhere. I know because I run tools to make sure our routes are all open.

All would route out the same way. So it seems that this is device independent.

The problem could still be network related and be on your device, or on your router... things like a local firewall for outgoing connections for example.
If you try installing the new version of the wallet on a different device on a different network, at least you'll be sure... If the seed phrase of the old wallet is compatible with the new version of the wallet, and you do install the new version on a different device on a different network, if it still doesn't work the problem is probably on bitcoin.com's end.  I suppose they run a full node and bitcoin.com is an SPV wallet, so if their node has problems the spv wallet will not work. In this case their support should be able to help you out.

If you install the newest version on a different device on a different network, and you restore from seed and it solves your problem it's probably because your current version is to old or there's a problem with your setup (be it your device or your network itself).
