I've been going through some of the latest ICOs and found too much hype but little substance. The worst are those like this and I wonder why there are people in the community doing this...https://cryptoinfowatch.com/the-new-billion-coin-who-wants-to-be-a-billionaire/
At present, there is no real use and use of cryptocurrency at present, and the price can only be controlled by the concept of hype.

Fraudulent ICO is a kind of test of a new market. Came a lot of money, but from small investors. Many came on a wave of fast earnings, and did not really want to learn. Now it is more difficult, and even one - day companies expend great efforts. We must learn to invest, competently approach the study of projects, and do not scold yourself that was wrong. It's experience. Good luck.
It seems to me that fraudsters also learn from mistakes and work out a lot of effort, in order to attract investors' money to their false project. Based on this, I want to say that even a more thorough analysis does not always give good results, which indicates that it is impossible to determine if this project is fraudulent or not. if even today it was so easy, then the reality of deceived users of cryptocurrency would be much less.

It is a fraudulent trick, you should need to be more aware of the ICO project. we need logical thinking between effort and results. most Scams offer unreasonable benefits.

Most potential scammers also offer high ROI. You need to study why they are offering such.
Usually, there is a loophole in the process. Or better yet, another pump and dump strategy is in the pipeline.
Good for the early adopters but very unfortunate times for most people.
People are greedy in terms of money. That all summed up why they are doing these fraudulent activities.
Projects especially anonymous ones have high confidence to lure people because they can operate without knowing their identities.
So that's another one, anonymous teams have higher chance of screwing you. Better be careful out there.

in 2017, it was easier to make an ico and raise money than to invest in a project , and wait for the token to cost something , I think there are a lot of mosheiniks and there are a lot of projects for this

Personally I think most projects with hype ends up to be a scam. I have invested in some end up loosing my funds
In my opinion I will rather buy some token like, btc, xrp, xlm , Eos etc . In my opinion I think sterllar is doing quite well and worth investing than some new project with hype that turns out scam.

For as long as the ICO space remains un-regulated,  ico scams will keep popping up and people who don't do research will fall for it.

I do not blame the project or the project team; rather I blame the investors who will allow them to be scammed by investing in projects like this that is glaring that its child’s play.

The community of people doing this have already signed up with the devil to wreck other people’s life and rid them off their hard earned money but what of those that are fully aware of things like this going on in the world of ICO and still chose to risk it following their instinct rather than investigating thoroughly before getting involved.

Just scammers enjoy the trust of beginners, and ICO is now a very popular way to raise funds. Until investors begin to carefully select projects for investment, they will be easy prey for scammers. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the main criteria for screening scam ICO.
It’s quite difficult to really screen scam ICO since it is not being regulated, initially we do rely on their whitepaper as base to invest but it is no longer enough and if care is not taken Security Token Offerings (STO) will eventually take over ICOs same way ICOs killed 65% of existing Initial Public Offerings because STO already has lots of advantages over ICOs in term of security and safety of the investor.

Even when one carefully selects project to invest in, majority end up dumping the project without refunding the investors.

Because all people want is the quick money they can make. As a result, there are a lot of deceived investors who believed in the project and a few people who were able to make money on these investors. Alas, in the crypto industry there is a lot of deception)

If in my opinion the current project projects are a lot of cheats, so we have to participate in such projects and the average project rarely uses without verification, it's better to stay away from you later you will regret

There are so many ICOs that are not meant to work in the first place. They want to raise a fund by attracting some investors with their flowery talks and promotions. Some projects are obviously impossible to run and work, thus giving us a hint that it may be a scam project.

they did it because they wanted to get a one-sided profit, without thinking about what would happen to their investors.
I think that's what makes people not interested in investing in the ICO anymore

Well there are still those who believe that they can profit from people's ignorance. However , the industry is becoming matured and its getting harder to get investments with little substance or unrealistic profits.

In order to be able to raise more funds, many ICO projects were very well-promoted in the early stage, and almost no problems were found.

This is a hype and a Ponzi coin, there's not much news about this scam coin after the downfall of Bitconnectcoin, they prefer to keep quiet because they are going to be the next target of the authorities, because of they have the same feature and plan

Its always the act of scammers who are only interested in making people invest money only for it to be later discovered as scam and only those who are greedy will fall into such traps in order to make huge profits thats why investor are advised to make research
Some projects will can be obviously to see as a scam but some also will be strongly hidden by the team that it takes months before it shown up their real intentions to the market. Mostly, they'll offering high and really enticing rewards but all of it are just their strategies to attract investors and fall into their traps. That is very important not to easily give trust into project especially if it is not already working.
