I think that Satoshi Nakamoto invented Bitcoin to give a response to the traditional financial system based on banks.

Do you remember what happened in 2008? The financial crysis. So this event has become a catalisator to the development of the Bitcoin peer-to-peer project.

In my opinion, why bitcoin is created, it depends on his historical background. And suddenly a peron named Satoshi Nakamoto, gathered all of the information and idea's of these digital currency. And made a new and improved Bitcoin.
