I think main reason for that, is that everyone sells bitcoins, or someone talks lies about bad bitcoin future so he creates panic, and then everyone sells them, so price will drop very low

why is bitcoin going down is there a problem or something and did you guys know IBM will use blockhain without btc?? hows that

why is it that when bitcoin goes up >$50 nobody cheers up and says why is bitcoin going up but whenever there is a small $20 decrease this forum gets filled up by questions like OP

p.s. move it to speculation already.

Because people focus too much on the negativity in their life. It's a general weakness of a lot people. If 10 things go well in their life, they are ok with that. If 1 thing goes wrong, then they will make a huge drama about it.
Bitcoin is not that going down that much. Dont be negative and hope for the best that is the best option.
The value is not that low now. You can see now that the value now is rising very slowly and that is very good.

Because Blockstream bought Core developers and is pushing their own policies and profitable ways of scaling Bitcoin. Also, chinese miners are stupid enough that they buy their story. If solution for scaling Bitcoin is not find soon, I expect Ethereum to reach Bitcoin's marketcap in few months.

ping pong between 4xx and 450

I'd say there is also a bit of fear regarding the size issue. It seems to me like the issue was forgotten, not really dealt with.

I believe so that the only reason bitcoin is going down is because of its highest demand and a lot of people buying bitcoin for investment which makes it too fast for selling. Its the same demand for others, buying at a lowest prices and then sell them for a higher amount..

It's going because more people are selling at the moment than buying.

It goes up when more people are buying than selling.

That's how it works.

Bitcoin has been constantly changing prices since the beginning.  If it goes up one day, or down the next doesn't mean it is going to go that way for good.  It constantly changes and there are reasons for it

IBM is not using the Bitcoin blockchain, or even the blockchain. It is using a blockchain variant.

The government and IBM are not interested in Bitcoin but in the technology behind it - the Blockchain. And they cant just outlaw Bitcoin out of thin air as it's not illegitimate in the slightest. The Bitcoin payment processors and exchanges may get regulated but that's not such a big pain in the butt to deal with anyways. The point at which digital bitcoins enter the physical world will be legalized Smiley I don't know why everyone is panicking like the sky is falling down or something Smiley

I do not know why, but I feel there is some relationship between it going down and ETH going up. Is like some money from BTC was going to ETH.

it's called market activity... no use asking questions unless the price crashes or jumps by 20%. even then the answer you'll get are merely speculations.

Because people are willing to sell at relatively lower and lower prices and other people are happy to buy at those prices.
