Because bitcoin is the first digital currency and has a price that makes everyone so interested. And bitcoin becames speical because it is trusted by many people and many investor, and bitcoin is helping many people to became rich.
At the moment, Bitcoin is not considered an exceptionally popular currency in some countries. It is still a wild financial exotica. However, those who master the new tools first, always take off the cream. Do not think that "it does not concern us". And in your financial plans it is always worth considering that there is one more, very interesting and promising tool. Which can be very beneficial to use.
Bitcoin is so special because bitcoin is the father of all atcoin or the first cryptocurrency. If the bitcoin will decrease to thier price they have the possibilty that all atcoins will decrease also. Many individuals are doubtful in bitcoin they failed because is so strong.
It's because all transactions in the crypto world bitcoin is always involved. In order to buy altcoins and tokens you need ethereum right? In order to have Ethereum you need bitcoin to buy Ethereum. That's why bitcoin is so special to other tokens and other coins in the crypto world. But some companies do a solution to make equality to other coins. Some companies make a ETH to FIAT and FIAT to ETH direct exchange so it won't need bitcoin anymore.

So it’s private, secure and at the same time,open. Bitcoin has two things going for it that help significantly in this respect. Stability and entrepreneurship. Both far exceed that of altcoins thus far and will make catching up very challenging.
I agree that Bitcoin currently has the broadest ecosystem and currently, the highest utility. However, there are at least two alts that are better poised to be more useful going forward. Ethereum and smart contracts are clearly something that could prove to be more useful in the future and have far wider implications. It functions as crypto just as well as Bitcoin, but has so much more potential functionality that can be built on top of it. The second is Ripple, which has major backing from major financial institutions. This backing is going to be more valuable to people who want the integration of crypto with major financial institutions. It seems more likely than not to be that eventually Ethereum or Ripple, or both, will surpass Bitcoin in market cap.

Yeah you are right. In fact bitcoin is the best because it is the mother of all crypto currencies. It is the higher rank in the Coin Market Capitalization that no altcoins can over pass it. It has many features and a volatile value. This bitcoin is amazing and i like it so much.
Example if you compare the feature of Bitcoin to Ethereum, you can't find anything of Bitcoin is better than Ethereum about the ability to apply for reality application.
It will be worse than if you compare it to Ripple, you have to know the Bitcoin technology is very old and it must to changes soon.

Currency was made by users and that why we got this trust and popularity of bitcoin. Price is also high because you getting so much benefits after bying coins.
I think that bitcoin is so popular because of the mass media. Many have learned about crypto after the term bitcoin. This word is heard everywhere in the forums in the news.

You are right bitcoin don’t have functions like other currency it is not under government it also has a lot of ways to earn and to get profit, there are a lot of ways to generate smart income, now the world wide scope of bitcoin is much higher than before, almost all countries are aware of bitcoin they are acceptation bitcoin and trying to make it legal currency and maybe it will not take much time, because no other currency gives that owner of high profit ease to spend it at the same time.

More likely yes it was the nearest cause why bitcoin is special, moreover, it is the main digital currency used by people. The first thing to know in cryptocurrency is bitcoins so its all the way bitcoins there's no need to question why it is the most use, popular, special etc.

It will not known by others if it doesn't have this good and trusted characteristics. Bitcoin have the highest rate among other currency. Bitcoin is very decentralized system that makes it special. It is more trusted than the other currency. You will gain a lot of profit and you can also invest and doubled your money.
The thing that makes the most special bitcoin versus all the coins is the bitcoin being the first, people are not concerned with new coins that may be better than bitcoin, otherwise the bitcoin effect is very strong and affects the price of all coins so bitcoin deserves to be the mother of all coins.

I also want to add some simple yet very powerful characteristics of bitcoin that makes it very special among other currencies and even in other cryptocurrencies. First is it was the first to be known cryptocurrency afaik that showcased a decentralised system which made it an ideal currency. Second is it is very volatile that makes it optimal for trading and even just hodling. And another is that it pretty much controls the value of other cryptos and the most used by crypto users.
