I think it is because of the fact that its an emerging market and alot of influence affect it especially with the fact that some people dont believe in digital currency. And when it is being tested, they realised its not going to make any gain to them especially the high networth individuals.

Fiat money is not that volatile for the reason that there is a body who regulate on its use and production that is why its price does not goes up or down abnormally. Because bitcoin was manipulated by large organizations, whales. Any market is manipulated, but btc transaction volume is so small that the level of manipulation easier.
I think Btc is very volatile not only because of demand and supply but it is also because it has not gain general and global acceptance yet. That is why btc holders rush to sell because of FUD and that will directly affect the rate of volatility.
It's a cycle. Media hype train. Normies buying at ATH. Inevitable dip. Panic sell. "bitcoin is trash"
People need to stop treating bitcoin as a get rich overnight scheme and more like the long term tech revolution that it actually is. Hop off the hype train and research, people. You will be wiser for it. If you want to gamble go to Vegas.
