I think the price is dropping because of South Korea and China ban news. Don't panic. It will recover soon.

its too good to invest 😂
I do not know what happens to bitcoin at this time, bitcoin prices are now getting down.
 why this happened?
I really do not understand why this happens but this we can use as a good time to invest or buy bitcoin. but we must remain vigilant and must always observe the graph that happens every time so that we do not experience many losses.

Hi,

What do you mean by "too much" exactly?
If you think it is "too" low.. then just buy and wat for the price to increase Wink

If your concern is that the bitcoin may disappear if prices get too low.. Well, would say that we are quite far from this situation. For the moment prices go up and down, following the law of offer and demand

Bitcoin is a currency that’s controlled by supply and demand like a commodity. This makes the exchange rate of bitcoin incredibly fragile. Bitcoins exchange rate is pegged to the US dollar unlike all other currencies (including the dollar) which are pegged to, minted by and controlled by a national government.

If you understand what controls the value of fiat then you will understand that bitcoin has no such protections. The value of the dollar decreases when there are more dollars in circulation, and increases when there are less of them. One of the main controls of the value of the dollar is the interest rate. What we call "the interest rate" is basically the rate central banks charge to lend money to banks overnight. This is set by central banks or governments, and ends up determining how much money banks will charge for lending money generally. The interest rate controls the value of the dollar, by controlling how many dollars are in circulation, by making people more willing or less willing to borrow money. If the Government wants to decrease the value of the dollar, for example to stimulate exports (since foreigners will get more dollars for their currency with a weaker dollar), it can lower interest rates and even simply increase the amount of money held by the central bank (quantitative easing), almost at the stroke of a key. This is a simplification of one aspect a government uses to control the value of a currency.

Bitcoin has no such controls. I’ve heard fools repeat the idiotic notion that bitcoins fixed quantity (21 million) controls inflation. That in turn means bitcoin is deflationary. That’s an insane concept because inflation and deflation are constructs of a vibrant national economy and do not apply to commodities (remember bitcoin is a currency that acts like a commodity). Deflation is when consumer prices fall over time. This may seem like a great thing for shoppers, except that the cause of widespread deflation is a long-term drop in demand. It means that a recession is probably underway. That brings job losses, declining wages and a big hit to your stock portfolio. As a recession worsens, so does deflation. Businesses lower prices in a desperate attempt to get people to buy their products. NONE of this applies to bitcoin because it’s not fiat (money controlled or minted by a government).

So what is bitcoin price controlled by then? The simple answer is consumer confidence but that’s not entirely true either. As with most commodities, bitcoin is manipulated legitimately by day trading and illegitimately (illegally) by insider trading. Market manipulation runs rampant in the bitcoin world. The only thing controlling the bitcoin price is consumer confidence, trading and market manipulation. That means the bitcoin exchange rate will bounce up and down like a rubber ball forever and you can never trust where it will land.

The news that the Chinese government will ban bitcoin transactions today caused the decline of all COINS in the past few hours.

it seems that the price of bitcoin and altcoin has increased rapidly in recent times so it requires a very deep price correction,
or there may be other factors such as a negative problem.

In my opinion, the rise in bitcoin prices due to the rupiah against the rupiah exchange rate rises or falls, this can cause bitcoin prices to occasionally rise or fall.

The price of bitcoin is still unstable and maybe they are just looking for the price to stabilize. If the prices goes down, maybe they will go up in the next few weeks and all we can do is buy or sell the tokens or bitcoin that we have.

There looks like no very bad news in the market. The only reason I think is it already increased a lot and after some failed trials to breakthrough, now it's time to adjust.

I think people are cashing out and investing in alt coins. There is lot of scope in alt coins and thus people are migrating to these. Some people have succeeded in tripling by investing in altcoins, something never possible with bitcoin.

the decline in the price of Bitcoin is basically something that happens because the nature of the price of the digital currency is indeed very fluctuating move. But the decline in prices that occurred in the last week still Bitcoin prices are still much higher than previous Bitcoin prices. This indicates that demand for the currency is increasing sharply, while the available inventory is limited.

I think not only bitcoin is suffering this ordeal because if you look at the list of top 100 cryptos are really decreasing their market cap, market price and other attributes. If you don't mind, you can invest more because maybe this'll be the last time we will see the cryptos going down.

I think the south Korean govt decision may have destabilized the BTC. Also the forthcoming Chinese New Year could have thrown people deeper into panic. But listen, do you really believe BTC will crash because of a certain decision. BTC will want to show its strength now. Watch out for the the next price rise
