This was just bad timing and nothing else the reason why bitcoin was falling is connected with the worldwide fall in the market , people were selling to get their profits and because of this even bitcoin fell

Why the bitcoin price can drop so fast without any omen? Its trend like the classic bubble wave...

Its a normal thing in cryptocurrency and I believe its because of its volatility. If your too afraid of this ups and down then I suggest quitting crypto. It will just cause you a heart attack.  Grin just saying

That's right. I think by now, it's already a normalcy that coins may drop at any time, and that includes Bitcoin. Even if it is the strongest and the highest-valued coin in the market, it can still be affected by these market movements and changes. Also, as fast as it can go down due to its volatility feature, it can also go up as fast just like what happened recently. When it dropped to 6.2k dollars, it climbed up to 8.6k dollars in just a matter of days. If you're an investor or trader, just wait for the right time to do your business.
Yes, we all need the strong heart to accept up and down in bitcoin price

bitcoin price not only drop so fast, but it will raise fast too.
it is common in the crypto market. the crypto market price is unstable.

Yes,  that is true,  bitcoin price drops so fast and increases  at the same time.  Digital currency is commonly rise and fall,  it depends on the supply and demand and with the issues that we encounter in the social media.
Maybe its own value is too big so let us to feel its big change.

Call it what you want to call it but bitcoin is not a bubble. Everything that goes the results is due to the demand is going down and there are too many panic sellers that are coming out from their caves so that is making bitcoin's price drop so fast.

my theory is that the fast and big price drop of bitcoin was mainly because of the excessive number of newbies invested in bitcoin. and these newcomers who have never been in bitcoin and never bothered to educate themselves are considered weak hands. with the first sign of FUD they panicked an started dumping their coins. so the drop became huge whereas it could have been a lot smaller if not for these newbies.

all the rest of the drama like calling bitcoin a "bubble" or talk of "bans" are pure bullshit.

I agree what you say. but yesterday's decline rate was the effect of some rumors and a ban on the country. coupled with a correction from 2017. and many beginners who decrease the decline happen, as you say panic makes a lot of waste bitcoin.

Its simple, Bitcoin just rose so high and so fast without consolidation periods. And it will apply to the correction. The drop will soo deep because we can't see any significant supports.

It dropped quickly because people decided to sell due to low market confidence. This has a domino effect and when other traders notice that most people are selling they jump on the bandwagon and start selling themselves.

The bitcoin price down so fast maybe because of the negative news about bitcoin but I'm pretty sure that this coming months will become stable in price or probably increase more in price.

Its because there are no fundementals on which to value bitcoin, so its value is based on sentiment and technical analysis.  As both news and charts are available to many, and its widely circulated that this support/resistance means a move to there, everyone piles in with the herd.

You are new to it really? The price of crypto most especially bitcoin are extremely volatile, they could change a thousand in a couple of hours. You can even see that the previous day, the price surges up after a good result happens after the senators have discussed the crypto futures in america.  But before that there are news scattered that India is banning the crypto. I think what probably the issues are not the government band, it is the process on how one could buy a crypto and that is in the use of credit cards which then block its utilization by major banks if the payment involves buying or selling crypto.

If you are not aware of it; it has been a normal pattern for bitcoin to fluctuate that fast so for elder members in this forum they are not that affected when bitcoin price decreases or increases in a day. And read more news or subscribe and follow some crypto news on your social media to know the reason why it decreases and increases because most of the time the reason are stated there whether a certain country withdraws bitcoin or bans them then it will affect the market of the coin.

Bitcoin in its very nature is extremely volatile. Given the recent negative news about Bitcoin's acceptance such as facebook's prohibition, south korea's stand against bitcoin, and india's reluctancy, these have heavily influenced bitcoin's price which has caused the recent dips. Given this, the strategic thing to do is to hold on to your coins and not do panic selling trying to cut your losses as Bitcoin will experience its correction price which will make it slowly increase again.

Given circumstance or common scenario to bitcoin, its just fluctuations in demand to a certain time. No other strange reasons but it's on way to get up the price higher.

There are so many factors involved in the bitcoin price fall like the one will be the new year arrivals before new year the people have sold their bitcoin and for the sake of the profit and their personal need of money so the supply of bitcoin rise and the demand graph decline due to which the price of bitcoin decline very fast every one has surprised by this but the big holders have caused this panic for us they are holding a much reserve of the bitcoin and they are operating the market.
