Bitcoin is getting more expensive, because bitcoin is becoming more popular, and more and more people are making bitcoin as an investment, and bitcoin has made many people more successful, and has huge profits, and now bitcoins are down from the highest prices. the opportunity of people to buy it to hold and sell when bitcoin skyrocketed again.
Should be honest, I have no idea why btc is so expensive, But I'm mining for the btc

The answer is already on your question ........🙂 Dude it's a crypto currency it's value fluctuating is common in it, and ofcourse comparing to the currency rate of each country it varies. Whatever I'm happy with it because I can gain a fair return from my bitcoin investment as per this currency exchange rate.

It makes no sense to call Bitcoin expensive, it is like calling dollars expensive. You know you can just by a fraction of it? You can buy down to 1/100 millionth of a Bitcoin. This is called a satoshi, after the inventor of Bitcoin. Think of a satoshi as the cryptocurrency and a Bitcoin just as a word for 100 million satoshis. Now it isn't really expensive is it? It is too cheep even.

For the modern period of time Bitcoin is going down. Its price wouldn’t rise in a near future I suppose. At the same time we should have in mind that it is better hold bitcoins because it's price start to grow again.
Its expensive mainly because it is the first crypto currency that's why it got so much popular and because of popularity its demand got increased in market, so its price.

The currency gained traction and so did its price as everybody wanted to own one, therefore increasing the price rapidly.
