I don't know the reason but it takes few weeks until is going to be stable again. All coins will be. Ethereum seems pretty strong

In my view, this is the complex outcome of everything that happened in South Korea, India,
and the facebook news that banned all posts about the cryptocurrencies.

For many reasons but one is that some countries are banning bitcoin and some are in panic selling. So yeah bitcoin will go lower pretty much soon.

Among the initial reasons for the fall we find several reasons. The first is that Bitfinex, one of the most popular exchange portals, received a subpoena whose motive has not transcended. Related to that is Tether, the cryptocurrency that maintains parity with the dollar and that is used as an intermediate currency so as not to lose value in falls like yesterday and today. Many doubt the real background of the currency and its value to trade with the dollar.

Other news that has not helped is the prohibition to show ads of cryptocurrencies by Facebook (in addition to other elements such as bets). Many cryptocurrencies are also falling that arise as scams with Ponzi schemes, such as BitConnect or My Big Coin. South Korea recently commented that they will not prohibit the exchange of cryptocurrencies, but they will regulate it. The Minister of Finance of India announced that they are going to carry out an offensive against the illegal activities that exist around the cryptocurrencies, which some media took the opportunity to affirm that they were going to be banned in their entirety in the country.

All this comes as a result of the maturation of the cryptocurrency market, which will receive more and more news of regulations from various countries, which will not help its price rise soon.

yes I have heard all of those but I don't really know what had happened why the price dip down.  I do believe that korean FUD affect as well and some people were in panicked that they sold their bitcoin. maybe tha market flactuations . there are many factors maybe  that we don't know . we will wait and see after chinese new year if it will rise again but still I believe that sooner it will go back to its high price.

According to the article i've read that this is the correction of price value before and this is the right price of bitcoin in exchange market thats why that all major cryto currency
today are going down.bitcoin price now is the main real price today according to the news about cryptocurrency article,that they want to re order  everything according to the exact value in the market,so those happen last year is only a feeble or despised so they corrected it now for snchronization in the exchange market.

Bitcoin drops again because many countries have banned to adapt it. Many people send fake news about Bitcoin where in fact they are all not true. However, dips are normal in trading and I am still hoping that Bitcoin will rise up again. Bitcoin is still too big to lose so don't lose hope and be patient to wait until the price goes up again. Just hold and invest additional becuase the price is still low.

How or Why is the price going down?

Because you people are setting up a sell order, stop opening orders to sell and help to bring up the price, its to your benefit and profit.
The higher it is, the higher the profit.

You may be right because Indian governament announced this news yesterday but from last couple of weeks the BTC price keeps on falling. So I don't think this is the major reason behind Bitcoin price down.

But now if we see any major changes in BTC price then we can consider this news.

Fud make panic sell. Panic sell make price drop. Recent India and Korea FUD is the key reason to this price down. A lot of news channel motivate peoples for panic sell. Keep holding at-least until l end of the march.

India alone, cannot have that much invested in Bitcoin, to have such a huge impact on the price. This looks like a scenario

where something triggered a dump {possibly India} and then a bunch of trigger happy Bots, selling as the price goes down.

These investors are probably not even online when this is happening. The Bots are just acting on their own and going Willbot

in reverse now.  

This is the main reason - recent news from India - however as always in bitcoin world people stretched this info, created fake news from it.
Mainstream media twisted this so people would think that India is planning to ban bitcoin, this is not the case at all!
I think the market is being manipulated - someone would like to buy cheap bitcoins, that my personal theory.

May be that's why BTC Price is going down.

because of  it was attributed to the korean FUD but they came out to say that they have no intent to ban cryptocurrency.
I hope btc again growth in this month!

I suppose Whales try to manipulate the price and make week hand sell everything to them at very discount price.

Bitcoin has fallen below $9,000 which means that there is something more going on behind crypto currencies. Yes, people fear to keep their coins until...
1) The professionals start buying again
2) Then the prices will start going up
3) Because the prices will go up the media will talk about the crypto-coins come back
4) The masses will forget about all the panic and buy back again, most people in higher price than where they sold.

I think you are not aware of the things going on in the major countries in the world because there are many things that are going against the cryptocurrency and that starts with the Korea FUD, then panic selling, then facebook bans the ads related to bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies ICO's and this proves that it has no interest towards and now recently yesterday India discussed that they are going to ban the cryptocurrency after the country's financial Budget is been declared by this month. I think after all these news people are fearing to hold their bitcoins and because of this bitcoin is down.

i did not hear any news but i know the btc price at the beginning of the year like this will experience a very big decline this also happened in yr last year so i guess this is like the way always btc through at the beginning of the year

If you are go to grocery store you can see prices going up and down. No matter what is the reason the price will fluctuate.
Volatility is present in every market, that is one of the markets characteristics. In some markets we have smaller volatility and in other much bigger, like in crypto.
