Maybe the mobile app will just be consider if there are massive requests about it. This forum is powered by SMF so it will be a hard work I guess porting all functions to the mobile app. Not just sure about it.
So why can't we request from Theymos about mobile app?
therefore stop hitting "all" every time I want to go to the next page.
This is my biggest concern mate and I am still hitting "all" every time Smiley

I used my mobile phone for browsing and posting for my first 6 months here in bitcointalk . In my case, I don't experienced any difficulty and honestly Im way faster at my phone back then rather than when I purchased my new PC because Im used to it. But of course right now Im mostly using dekstop.

Im using UC browser with Single Column View option so that webpages will fit to the screen width. On this method, you don’t have to scroll left or right and it has better view for phones with 5"+ screen. Opera Mobile also have that option but I don't used it due to the fact that UC is way better in terms of downloads.

OP, I'm with you on this and even though I'm pretty much a neanderthal when it comes to tech stuff,
Funny thing about neanderthal is that they had bigger brain than homo sapeins Smiley

Bigger doesn't always mean better. At least, that's what I keep telling my wife. Wink

I rarely post from a mobile, but I do browse a lot, so my biggest issue is clicking on the tiny "page number" links at the top of each thread. I found that by turning on my phone's temporary magnification feature (under the accessibility settings), I can quickly magnify the links and therefore stop hitting "all" every time I want to go to the next page.

I finally, finally got a new PC a few months ago, so my posts are now done with a real keyboard, but up until getting that new computer I was doing most of my browsing and posting on my smartphone--and it sucked.
I know that pain pretty much since I am still using  my two thumbs.

I'd love to hear that reason from Theymos himself.
Agreed with two thumbs and hoping The great Theymos will see this.

Having said all of that, I'm not a donator here and it's not my forum.  I'll use it however it exists and be grateful for it.

OgNasty is current holding 500BTC ($3.843.000) for the forum in this address.
There is also an auction to advertise in the forum every couple days (~1 week), which earns the forum a few BTC per round. Last round, it was 3BTC (for 1 week of advertising)

They have money.

I had no idea. Thanks for the information.

Hello pharmacist.

The forum has indeed many donators who donated more than 10 btc. But they didn't donate 100k usd each, they donated when the price was lower so probably the forum is not rich as we might think. Even Andreas Antonopoulos was having financial problems. Not everyone can hold for so long.

Anyway I am with you on this. I am using q mobile now. I got pretty used to it. Most of my posts were done on mobile.

It's bad, but not that bad. I miss a good app, a mobile version would not solve the problem.

OP, I'm with you on this and even though I'm pretty much a neanderthal when it comes to tech stuff, I do wonder why it is that a forum with so much money from donators behind it can't make a mobile-friendly site.  I may be making a few unwarranted assumptions there, but I don't think I'm too far off the mark.

I finally, finally got a new PC a few months ago, so my posts are now done with a real keyboard, but up until getting that new computer I was doing most of my browsing and posting on my smartphone--and it sucked.  I learned that my fingers are way too frigging fat to be tapping away on a screen, so I started using a stylus and even then the number of errors was too much, and the whole process was too slow.  But a lot of members, I'm sure, do a lot of their writing on a phone.  I don't know what the reason is that bitcointalk doesn't have a mobile-friendly interface.  I'd love to hear that reason from Theymos himself.

Having said all of that, I'm not a donator here and it's not my forum.  I'll use it however it exists and be grateful for it.

You will get used to it after a while so don't worry.
I don't recommend login with any third party app and I would personally change my login details if done..
Solution : wait for the new forum version. (if we will stay alive to see it /s  ; /i like this one <3)

I am pretty much a mobile man(like most of the people nowadays). So I have searched, is there any mobile version of Bitcointalk forum? Guess what, I couldn't found anything except this app made by Logik back in 2013.

Link for OP>>>https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcoin-talk-mobile-version-165779

But that app is also not working in my mobile except nice interface. I'm not a tech guy but I have seen that very talented members who have vast experience about app development. So why can't we make a mobile user freindly app for Bitcointalk forum without diluting it's features and theame as it is(which I believed the Hallmark of Bitcointalk forum). Your suggestions are highly appreciated.

P.S - I am really frustrated with the system of zoom in and out with two thumbs at once Smiley
