Yeah in a long-term investment you do not need a special strategy because all you need is patience, otherwise the risk would be much
smaller if you compare it with a big risk in daytrading, otherwise the profits would be bigger, because you're waiting for the highest price

People who has good experience will always go for day trading because they have ability to make money even when they loose. They know the analysis part of the chart, if they fail at one coin defintely they will make money through other coin. People who don't have much experience they will look for long term investment and this makes them to make more money.

The primary target of long term trading is the huge increase of the values of the tokens being held. That will not happen in only a week. Nor will it materialize after a couple of months. Knowing that the market is fluctuating, the long term goal should be at least one whole year. I think you should not choose long-term investment at this time as the market is in a long-term cycle and bitcoin is falling sharply over the past few days, so you should only trade Short-term trading is possible in order to be profitable with low risk.
