As I said, your chances of winning still going to be extremely small, so it's a question of losing $2 or losing $2,000 instead. In our country, it is because of the people being persistent.

I don't know their basis but all I know is that they want to bet their numbers, maybe it is a number symbolizing the birthday of their child, partner maybe sibling, and they keep that for days. Miraculously, some won consolations like winning 2 numbers out of 3 and some won the main prize. That is the reason, I think they are addicted.

Oh I believe there are a lot of people who are getting addicted in lottery, just in a different way than the casino addiction.

For example in a casino, you might lose a few games and then decide to keep playing until you lose everything or get back what you lost... that's an addiction.
In lottery you keep playing for years, losing a few money constantly.

The results might be the same in the end... though your chances of wining in casino can be higher if you play a game which includes skills.

Because when you bet in lottery, there is no addiction and a lot of stress to be involved. The chances may be slim to be able to hit the lucky numbers but at least you are not going to lose or sell everything that you have unlike what happens when you have gambling problems in traditional casinos. I also believe that if a huge money is meant to be yours then you will receive it.

You don't have to put a lot to wager in lottery but you can get the highest pay once you win. Its not that easy to win, matter of fact I haven't won anything from lottery myself. The only reason I would probably play lottery is if the casino allows you to pick a lottery ticket for every bet you do in their casino. Its like playing Slot machine in EOSBET.io which gives anyone a chance to win $10K for every dice roll you make.

Still there is some differences between gambling and lottery. Specially on sports betting professional gamblers use previous data and research a lot before placing their bet which increase the chances of win undoubtedly. You can't do something like this for lottery IMO. Gambler depends on previous data, prediction or possibilities but winning lottery completely depends on luck.

Its not about luck completely, because the chance of a win in lottery will be affected by the number of tickets you buy, it means that the amount of money you have will affect your chance of winning in the lottery. so the lottery isn't just about luck, the small players in the lottery will only donate prizes to big players, that's what I see. so I like to play other gambling games than play in lottery

I am not sure about that because the lottery can be addictive for some people who cannot control themselves because they are curious about the prizes. Yes, sometimes people are waiting for the prize accumulated to the bigger prizes, so they don't have to wait for a long time to see the result comes out.

But the chance to win the prize will be the same as the other gambling games which need the luck to win. We could only expect and hope that we can be the winner, but the luck will not always come to us. Sometimes, the small bets can be the winner because the luck can come to any people who deserve the money.

In the lottery itself, people who are not thinking about the prize usually have a bigger chance to win the prizes.

But I only do it whenever the grand lotto has already accumulated at least $20m because no one has won the past draw. I will also prefer lottery than the classic gambling because in casinos, the bigger you bet then the larger your winnings you could get but in lottery, even the small bets from average people has the same chance as everyone.

I don't know what do you mean but lottery is gambling, right?

The winning chance is low, yet the price pot in there is so high. I think that is also the reason why people are wanting to buy lottery tickets hoping they could get that huge amount of price despite the low chance of winning.

The thing with lottery is it is a replay traditional thing and hence many gets the addiction towards lottery due to genetics and inheritance. I would agree that based on math, chances of winning a lottery is astronomically low. But since lottery doesn't carry the same stigma as gambling (I maybe wrong here), that's why people get attracted towards it.

But then I realize that the house will always win and it is very difficult for us to be the winner even if we used so much money unless we have big luck.
