There is also not that much of a care for it neither, there are so many people and so many exchanges with countless doge that they do not care about, it is not store of value or it is not trade worthy or it is not even that much importance in any part of crypto at all.

It means there is no reason for it to go down, people do not think it is a scam, people do not think it will make them billionaires, people do not think about it at all. That causes most of doge in the world to stay in wallets and not move at all, most of it is actually in cold storage of exchanges probably. That is why I believe at the end of the day if you are not cared at all that will cause you to stay around the same price. If there was care on it and there was love or hate for it the price would have changed accordingly but people are ignoring it.

Agree, people use dogecoin as a transfer tool because of its low cost and not use it as an investment asset for the long term. The price of Dogecoin against USD tends to follow Bitcoin and I think this is what makes Dogecoin able to survive even though initially only as a meme

In my opinion, one of the reasons dogecoin survives is because it has a large community, has a fast transfer speed, besides that dogecoin also has a stable price in the crypto market compared to other altcoin prices that depend on bitcoin price movements.
I think that another project has a better speed the doge coin but this coin is a very suitable coin to be used for tipping purpose. I remember so many people in various communities have already used doge coin to tipping others on telegram group. The main reason could be doge has a reasonable fees for any tx.

Indeed, one of the reasons many people choose dogecoin to survive has a low cost for every transaction made and also a fast transfer speed, therefore it is natural if the price is always stable.

yes, sometimes people will move their capital from exchange to exchange will find an alt with cheap fees and stable price in bitcoin
and doge is the best choice for that
They will not move their asset if that was a huge capital and doge is an alternative for the medium - low tx payment too.
People will prefer to use another coin like tron or even ethereum to move a huge capital from one to another exchange site.

I think Dogecoin is one of the most stable position coins since 2017 and its price has grown. Dogecoin is almost on every top-ranking exchange so it has a huge community and there is a good daily trading volume on all good exchanges.

Don't be surprised, dogecoin is a perfect example for many new projects, I wish new projects can learn from this project, it's well backed by a strong community, keeping a coin alive isn't that hard once community loves the project, dogecoin over new projects Huh Hell Yes for me
So, why is the price still shitty despite the "supposed" community backing? May be the Doge community and fans are mere talkers and not doers. Talk without action makes no meaning to progress. To be honest, Dogecoin has ceased to disappoint me anymore as I have lost hope of it going to a nice price after the bull run of 2017. Well, this is cryptocurrency, anything can still happen. Price can still get to $1 😂

It's because the supplies are unlimited. Even if it is backed by a strong community, the supplies will always be there and inflation will continue to rise. That's the reason why doge coin is surviving today but will have a very low price. Cheap and fast.

If I'm correct, it's almost the same thing with bitcoin? It reached 0.01$ once but since then, its price is decreasing.

Because Dogecoin has a concept, related to price increases and decreases that are commonplace where many indicators cause it. normally if demand is large and supply is small the price will definitely go up.
it doesn't have a concept and it has an unlimited supply. You may understand it very wrong even the doge coin doesn't have developers who have been actively developing its platform.
No one is controlling doge right now and it's still survive caused by the speculation of community

Although this project was originally released with the aim of joking, it continues to be active today because it is used by many users and it can constantly find new investors. Although it is not possible to fully praise the project, I think it is actively used today because it is being transferred quickly, it has almost no transfer fees and is preferred by almost everyone in the crypto money markets. Also, even though I have my own idea and do not support this idea for strong reasons, I would like to say that it does not mean that it cannot be valued in the future as a joke created with a joke. Moreover, even if the project does not gain value, it is a possibility that the price of jokes will increase significantly.

Dogecoin was a great disappointment for investors last year but it is still the ultimate meme coin and I think it has a potential to survive. Despite low cost, DOGE is very popular among the people and this fact will help the price to stay normal and not to drop in the nearest future as many predicting DOGE to be very profitable in coming years.

Dogecoin is a good coin, I use to invest in it back in 2014. I was still new then and it was among the coins that were trending in the market, so I installed a different wallet for it (my other wallet was strictly for Bitcoin) and bought some Dogecoins from my friend who was an engineer and also into cryptocurrency. He was mining both BTC and Doge then. I stores the Doge in my wallet for some months and later sold it and bought Ethereum which was still new then.

After sometime I stopped hearing or seeing anyone mention anything about Dogecoin, thought it died off and was surprised after I checked a few years and it was still there. Having a strong community matters a lot. I am seeing now a days, almost all crypto gambling houses are having dogecoin as one of the payment option for deposit and withdraw; I guess this could be more than enough real world application for a coin to survive Cheesy.

It has a very high supply I think why its price never sees any good move. I think its the community that loves this coin so much and they are trying to keep it alive. If you notice it's not doing bad when every other project had a very tough time to survive the market conditions. But overall I think it's a cheap coin that the community still loves and willing to keep it alive no matter what the value of the coin is.
crypto community look dogecoin as alternative portofolio , which is have safety ratio bigger than another coin. actually we didnt see any new progress developtment on this coin. we just see its price move on certain range and its considered as good opportunity for traders to buy it. if we look on total supply and adoption there is no significant update, but crypto traders love it.

Traders use dogecoin as their asset and hold for the long term, and they will not sell their dogecoin if the price is not more than 100-150 satoshi. The last high price we already see that show dogecoin can increase to the higher price, but now, the price is back to the lowest price again. But I am sure that the price will have the time to rise again, and once that happens, traders will make their big profit again.

Never heard of traders keeping dogecoin as a long term asset to be honest, and this coming from someone who does like dogecoin a lot,,, I mean, it is a rather stable coin bitcoin-wise, price is always around current levels, and never below 10 satoshi anymore, and you never know when it can pump to 50 satoshi or more!
They don't have to tell people how long they hold dogecoin Grin

I know my friend hold dogecoin from more than 1 years ago, after the price increase in the last 2-3 years ago. The price now more than 20 satoshi, and it is a good price to buy, so I guess many people still buy dogecoin at a price now, and that makes the queue in the buy order is big. If dogecoin gets pump, the price will be up to 50 satoshi, and sometimes, the price can be more than 100 satoshi.

If I'm correct, it's almost the same thing with bitcoin? It reached 0.01$ once but since then, its price is decreasing.

Despite being abandoned in development, Dogecoin managed to survive because of the persistent community supporting it in every way. Being an inexpensive cryptocurrency for micropayments, tipping, and other sorts of things, Dogecoin has found a way to maintain adoption in the mainstream world. Other cryptocurrencies that have been abandoned by developers, are not as lucky as Dogecoin. Maybe it has something to do with how old Dogecoin is? Considering that there are a lot of exchanges trading Dogecoin, it looks very unlikely it'll die anytime soon.

As long as Dogecoin has an inflationary supply, its price will continue to decrease on the market. The bright side of this, is that people will be able to experiment with the world of crypto at a fraction of the cost of traditional cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. 1 DOGE will always be equal to 1 DOGE no matter what. Personally, I find Dogecoin to be a tried-and-tested cryptocurrency for quick transfers without "breaking the bank". Most cryptocurrency enthusiasts have found Dogecoin to be quite an attractive coin to buy, "hodl", and use because of the aforementioned reasons. I wouldn't be surprised if Dogecoin lasts a lifetime because of its ever-growing community in the crypto/Blockchain space. Newer coins have a higher risk of fading into oblivion if they become abandoned by the "next big thing" in crypto. But Dogecoin is a special cryptocurrency that will keep going no matter what happens in the mainstream world. Just my thoughts Grin

Because its one of the true decentralised projects, without board of directors, with strong community, each of us who uses doges for something is contributing and keeping this coin alive. I mostly gamble with doges, I have a some nice amount for that, usually playing dices. It interesting that doge make a peak once in a while, a nice jump, when it's good to sell what you have and buy back when price drops.

When I was just starting out Dogecoin is one of the most popular coins in the market, of course together with Bitcoin and Litecoin, this is the first  meme coin and it's worth supporting because the community has a lot of activity going on, so many merchants are accepting it.

These three coins Bitcoin Litecoin and Doge are getting the most headlines in the Crypto sphere things are great until Ethereum came and it become a different ball game for Dogecoin, but glad that they are still here and they are still in the top 50.

dogecoin has a good volume and is also widely used for transactions so the coin will continue to be used,
and also almost all gambling sites must use dogecoin both for bets or withdrawals and deposits.
that's why top-ranking coins always last because they have a function and will continue to be used.
