I don't know if we can really connect gambling addiction to a certain nationality, I mean there is no weight on your basis that a lot of them are in the chat box of those sites, maybe they are just friends who really like play at the same time. Also another reason is that no matter what nationality you are you will see that a lot of people in various nationalities are addicted to gambling.
Are you sure that all vietnamese people play dice gambling?It is not possible to meet all of them.
Maybe you just meet the people on online gambling chats so all of them having gambling habits.And most of the players are gambling on its own decision and it is irrespective of from which nationality.

Lol, not all bruh, you haven't meet all vietnamese. Maybe it's just happen that when you're online, they are online as well and asian people loves to chat and play gambling but haven't seen a vietnamese rocking the HR tab yet. Ain't a haters but I guess most of them are just using faucet or waiting for a rain but of course some are just friendly.
Every country have their own habit and it create a culture for themself , so it's normal things !

In Vietnam, there's no Real Casino, Vietnam Government banned gambling in this country but some people, they still want to gamble so they go to Laos or Cambodia to gamble (lol).
I met alots of people from VietNam while gambling. They online most of the time ,but they only talk on chatbox for example: Primedice,Stake and many sites i've visited .

Its mean you like Vietnam people. But i think mostly professional gamblers they don't like to talk on chatbox while prefer to play gambling. Because in this wise our time only waste on chat, may be i don't like chat, that's why i have same thinking for other gamblers.
I don't think so they are addicted gamblers but they have a lot of interest on gambling and they have a lot earning from gambling.
See certain trends might be common among the people of a particular locality. It is mainly because of people spreading the information regarding these activities to each other. Suppose, you work in a office and most of your colleagues talk about their gambling experiences in free time. Will you not also be tempted to play the game yourself ?

I think the subject implies only to those who are in crypto too if in terms of gambling,and I think almost all nationality really deals a lot on dice more. I'm not Vietnamese yet I also prefer dice among gambling games since it doesn't require huge capital and you can quit anytime. It might be that in Vietnam in their physical games there are plenty of games that dice can be used of. hero member

maybe not all Vietnamese people play dice because every people have different favourite games in gambling so I think they will play other games. maybe most of your friends play the dice at the same gambling site but in out there, we don't know. but I admitted that dice games are the easy games that we can play without any skills.

Actually im not a vietnamese person but in my own opinion why vietnamise people love to play dice because this is there traditional gambling of there country and a part of recreation or relaxiation to there ownself . mostly vietnamese people is busy in agriculture like planting rice,making a hog raising livestock etc.so after there daily works they have a place to gather each everyone of them by relaxing themself,so thats the time they play a dice and after so many past several years they develope it games and turn into an online gambling.
I've never heard of this, but now that you mention it it makes sense. I always see them playing dice in the casino whenever I go there. It's really strange actually. Although if something is embedded into your culture it might be normal to you and very different for others (obviously). They probably don't even think about it, whereas it isn't normal to you. 
I don't know why they are so loving this game mostly, but yeah Asian culture impact them. instead card games , dice are more popular , here in Singapore a lot of people did the same thing too. Especially when people around you keep talking about how good they are making money easily there, you would attracted to give it a shot till become addicted.

I am not sure if there should be a problem with Vietnam people gambling but if you met lots of Vietnamese online then it goes to show that technologies like the internet are readily available in their country just not sure if these are signs of addiction Are they addicted gambling/ making money or they want a place to comunicate each other?

gambling can bring you a good life but its so easy to kill your life to. we all know about that. But its free for who have free time to stay in chat and get tips from mods and others. Nothing to lose( without time ) so i think they choose to spend free time to live in chat. 
The only thing i know is that gambling could ruin your life,it is fun and good if you are doing it for fun,but when your vision is to make money,you will start with a couple of hundred dollars and then the loss will escalate to a thousand within no time and then you will be playing to get back the money you lost and you will keep on loosing and even you wont understand that you have become an addict until you loose everything. Probably some of them but not all, even in a developed country, there is those who just played when they got tip, staying on the chatroom does not really mean they are waiting for someone to tip them so they can play. And well if all of them are doing that then, I think it is really good for them since they have mastered this kind of strategy to not spend a single cent but rather use this tip hunting strategy to play. But as I said, definitey not all of them are tips hunter. And the same thing I do not think that all Vietnamese people are playing gambling games like what OP stated.
Yea maybe some people will spend time with this intention but not everyone, I think they like to chat with gamblers and maybe they can give some tips to the losers in gambling. who knows they may sell their gambling strategy to players and make money. just for timepass, i think nobody can spend a full day.

I don't think all Vietnamese gamble, but it is probably ingrained in their culture and tradition to gamble as part of their lifestyle or something like that. From what I can gather, some of their annual festivities do include casual gambling.

Maybe their country don't have gambling website which offers other than dice games.But it looks like weird news I didn't here like this anywhere.
People can choose any kind of games what they want which is irrespective of from what country.So you just met people on dice games website so they are only playing dice games.
