Most casinos provide "how to play" or "about game" information which is about short information about the game itself.
I think it is more than enough, I dont think players need such manual/instructional essays which might be something like wall of text and they.
Most gamblers know the game they are going to play and those who want to try new game that they have never tried before, they can find it by simply using google.

*What do you think?

*Why do you think casinos do not include games manual or instructional essays on their website?

Casinos already assumed that those who sign up to play on their platforms know that they are a gambling platform and are fully aware of how to play the games on their platforms; casino's only concern is for people to not get addicted to playing on their platform, not that they do not understand how to gamble, so your recommendation is pretty useless.
Besides, since we are talking about online, there are videos on YouTube and articles online about how to play games at casinos, but many of these videos are about how to set up methods to win and beat the house.
And besides, newbies become attracted to playing on casinos because they see how the games are being played elsewhere, so you don't go to online casino to learn how to gamble; you go there to gamble.

What I would love to add them is the demo feature, which exactly does what you suggesting but in a lot better way.

It's clear that op might be missing the point of having a demo play on his casino account first before playing with a real account.. just like other members have said already most gamblers are most likely not wanting to go through manuals before they begin to play. I see no use of cause as most times these games are closely alike in some aspects. Just different interfaces and designs. As a gambler who have been playing for long you might already know that you have to play on demo to check out the game they also remember that the demo play might be different from playing on a real account...

I am kind of confused. What is the function of the demo which you can use to learn how to play games that you do not know how to play. Is this not enough to replace the games manual or instructional essays. Why games manual or instructional essays when you can practical learn it through the demo.
May be he will be talking about an instructional materials that can guide gambler's through some game's, and for sure that is what demo mode game's are all about and for some reason many gambler's prefer to play real game's instead demo that can help to guide them through in as much as possible it Will help them on many ways to win the games.

Unless if this ops is talking about anything else, because for sure instructional materials in gambling site's won't work that much, because casino's doesn't have that time to take steps to help guide a gambler to win.

Games Manual, which is like how to play this game?

I don't think it carries any importance, it might be just a one time thing and almost every gamblers has idea of how the games works because basically those casino games are very simple and even for the one who doesn't can learn from a google search and if want better presentations there are tons of videos out there to check out.

What I would love to add them is the demo feature, which exactly does what you suggesting but in a lot better way.
Game manual is actually necessary because many gamblers avoid certain games simply because they don't know how to play the games. I know how many times I have had to teach some of my friends how to play some casino games especially setting automatic spins, calculating the amount to put for the number of spins they want to do and many others. The games may be user friendly but it is not everyone that is that smart to understand them. I have even seen people going to Youtube to learn how to play some games. If there is a detailed manual in all casinos, most of these stress will be avoided. I know some casinos actually have guide to their games which is good but not all casino have detailed guide that is sufficient to educate the gamblers.
Yes, only few have managed to provide some manual for their games but majority are still not sticking to it. So the only way you will know is to explore the game and create your personal experience, and that's what exactly they want, to make you fall on their games so you would keep coming back and even try out some new game offers and bonuses that will sustain their interest in your casino.

*Why do you think casinos do not include games manual or instructional essays on their website?
While gamblers are learning the rules of the game, the casino doesn't make money on them. Smiley I think the short answer is this.

On the other hand, all these games in gambling are so widespread and well-known that even without a games manual or instructional essays, everything is intuitively clear. For example, do you really think that slots require a games manual or instructional essays to play? Even a beginner will figure it out after a couple of spins.

Whatchu mean game manual? Whatever would give you a mega headstart against the casinos are the things they'd fight dearly to avoid bringing to your notice[1]... I mean, they could run an easy tour/guide on how to utilize or surf the platform, but ain't nobody doing shit like drafting a compilation of how to wager......;..... Whatsoever!

It's assumed that you know how to gamble before getting registered on a casino already... 88% of the time anyone hops in a casino, they know too well what, how and why they should wager in the first place...

[1] - in most casinos, what you see on their homepage are flashes of wins, scoreboard, fixed matches in different leagues, crash games for you...etc. The one way to learn is by depositing and trying out several varieties... notice how they'll send so many in-app messages to show you around immediately the wallet is funded? That's it!

*What do you think?

Not everyone likes reading. Imagine reading 10 to 20 slides when signing up in a casino that bullshit. Gamblers come there to gamble and not to study. Things like privacy, terms and conditions and few onboarding screens can convey any message from the casino without anyone reading long manuals. Even if they want to jump on that then they should use a voice manual. So that they have to listen to it even while they do other things rather than reading through it.

*Why do you think casinos do not include games manual or instructional essays on their website?

Because people will not read it. Most gamblers will skip through it.

Not all gamblers may be experienced. some of them are beginners. but to understand how the game mechanism works, some casinos have demo accounts that new users can try. and I think that's more than enough to provide first-hand experience and insight into how the game mechanism works.

I wonder if Op might want an automatic guide that runs telling you all the functions of how to play? it's the same as when we install an online game application, where when you open the application for the first time there will be a guide that shows the function of several buttons and features.
Casinos don't need to do that. they provide a demo account and that should be enough.

Contrary to Adbitco's opinion, I don't think these manuals would have a great impact in the chances of winning, and in fact the OP means that the fact of making them available in casinos would improve the user experience somehow, not the results.

But IMO most games are intuitive enough to understand the basic mechanisms on the go (the contrary would be a problem of design, not of lack of user manuals), while for more classic games with rules more complicated (poker, blackjack...) there are plenty of manuals and tutorials everywhere.

The demo feature Findingnemo mentioned can be good for the new games that are not intuitive enough, although this also exists to some degree, and I'm referring to the typical hand icon moving through the screen and teaching how to play.

I guess most of casinos do not really bother themselves by providing instructions or a manual for their gamblers due to them assuming from the beginning their gamblers already understand the rules of those games from cultural culture alone. Moreover, some could argue that it is possible to wager 0$ in most of casino games (which are solo experiences) and start to understand the basic rules of those games without actually wasting money during the learning experience.
For example, when I first started to play Plinko on Stake, I was allowed to play it by wagering null, so I could mess around the with setup of risk, until I understood which setup was better for me when comes to having fun and risking a reasonable amount of money.

So I don't see it as a "must have" for casinos, I am sure there are already places on the internet which are 100% dedicated to teaching poker and dices to novice gamblers...

Casinos are not a source of educational resources, so expect that they won't give too much emphasis on giving instructional essays, but rather focus on creating an inviting and entertaining area where gamblers are mostly attracted to.

And with personal experiences through different game offers, that's the only time they will clearly learn on how the game will be played well. I would say that's also one of the marketing strategies of any casino, to be more engaging on their customers.

You think casino will also include instructional material to defeat them while gambling??
No! This is not possible and no casino would do that, or doing think gambling is for those who wanna learn how to gamble or is for those that are already knows what they are doing. One thing you must understand about casino is that their interest for you to keep losing while they keep benefiting, so as a gambler you must know how to play casino before started to gamble and if you don't know then it's better to learn before you start to avoid you losing too much.

Some of the benefits of providing game manuals/instructional essays from my findings, may include the fact that it helps to improve the gamblers experience, it helps to increase players retention memory capacity, it helps to enhance responsible gambling in the society, it helps to reduce the confusion and frustration that is felt during gambling and provides a competitive edge that is second to none.

These days however, I find out that some casinos do not include games manual or instructional essays on their website, which would have helped immensely in detailing how to play their latest games released or older games properly.
That is, for the new gamblers joining these casino sites or still learning how to properly gamble with the games they have, instead of letting them waste more resources online to watch videos on how to play such games or from funds during losses without learning much, these casinos would have helped reduce cost and increase player efficiency as well as winning potential and responsible gambling experience.

Therefore, I think if modern casinos were to adopt some best practices like  providing a concise and easy-to-understand game rules, Offer interactive demos or trials for newbies, provide links to external resources on social media like YouTube/Instagram /telegram tutorials,  Host gaming workshops or webinars on their site for newbies and Develop mobile apps with built-in tutorials, am sure that they would have redefined the gambling experience because by providing or making the availability of comprehensive game guides possible before joining their sites as fulltime gamblers, casinos would have been able to enhance the player experience, reduce the confusion often experienced by gamblers and promote responsible gaming/gambling practices.
