To support the idea of bitcoins, generally these things are to get people started.
I made a site to sort of collate all of the free bitcoin sites. I seem to be the only one using it, but still making those bit-pennies

In that case, why RICH people give out thousands dollars to charity?
They don't unless it makes them look good.
I never get free bitcoins....I am kind of a dick though. 
People who are into bitcoins what the system to thrive. I've never even owned a single whole bitcoin, but I still give back to the faucet sites that helped me out. And.....a "bitcoin future" would be breathtaking to see unfold.
Yep, you got that right, I always give back to people who help out and share with others. When you have your address in sight, and do or say nice things in the community, you will always get appreciated with coins, be sure about it
For some reason its more tempting to donate bitcoins to people than fiat, perhaps because they're so easy to send

People seem to be less greedy with bitcoins in general.
In that case, why RICH people give out thousands dollars to cherity ? Its the same as bitcoins. They have, so they spread some to other.
