my reason are the same as you, it's because it's cheap and all investors like cheap coin, because you can buy many of them and get huge return when they increase, there is really no other valid reason to buy doge for me, but peopel really like this coin, like they like litecoin also, it's a nostalgia coin for many and will never die

Doge is good if you like to gamble as they transaction fee is pretty cheap compared to bitcoin, the transaction speed is faster than bitcoin and a lot of gambling site accept doge. But i don't know the reason if people invest in doge for long term.
the speed and less expensive features of doge might be the reason why there are more people who still buying and investing with this coin its been almost a year now when i first bought and trade doge inside yobit i don't even think that it will rise like this if i only hold everything and not using it to gamble maybe i earned a lot, but in long term this coin will bring fortune like btc.

There is no doubt that Dogecoin is a major crypto-currency, as it is having a market cap of more than $400 million (the market cap increased by almost 2,000% during the last two months). I don't know how many crypto-exchanges list this coin, but I assume there are quite a few.
ALL coins did.. we were over run by Indians and Chinese etc.. buying anything not nailed down listed on Conimarketcap.

Actually doge is a good coin, but the fame is already out, doge is an old coin and ever became bitcoin sidekick and there are a lot of gambling sites that accepting doge, but now the growth is too slow, people prefer to used other coin, because doge doesn't has any speciality, that is why now the rank keep on sliding down, most of the people invest in doge because of the hype, so they are invest only to look for profit by trading
