It will only affect new user of bitcoin when they see that someone is making a FUD about bitcoin but other user who are in bitcoin for years they will just laugh about it.

Yeah thats why when they learn from the mistake they made from panic selling it will make them a good trader someday.

At this point, I don't think bitcoin will actually die unless the US government or other major governments make bitcoin illegal. I just don't see that happening now that we are several years into it.

after all the years some people still fall for the panic fud created by others to get the price down. noobs keep selling on the way down, and buy on the way up. they constantly lose money with their panic. some people never learn...

No matter what haters say but the price of bitcoin could test its 2013 highs of above $1,100 next year and then pick up speed to rise to $4,400 by the end of 2017.
That would be due to a number of factors… including an increased acceptance of payments in bitcoin by big companies and authorities, rapidly growing interest and investment in the "blockchain" technology that underpins bitcoin transactions, and also more demand from China as its currency weakens and the economy slows.

The reason is really simple IMO, They just want to encourage people to sell and get the bitcoins at the cheapest price and when the price recovers they would be at a good profit level, That strategy doesn't work anymore since the market size is very big right now.
