Because most people think if bitcoin prices go down, they think bitcoin will die.
It's precisely my thinking and many different people, because i'm sure more and more number of bitcoin users today, will not make bitcoin die, which obviously will grow and popular.
Many People who say like that only people who have the mindset that bitcoin is a fraud.

Every time, for as long as I remember, that I go on bitcointalk, everyone keeps posting "BTC IS DEAD" "SELL" etc... And then a few Sr/Hero members come and explain how thats wrong.
I just don't get it.
Aren't we used to the price fluctuating by now? Whats with all the crying/moaning about price bubbles, crashing, inflations, Russia, China blablablablablablaaaaa!
Jeez... Do some research before posting, I saw one post which got LOADS of attention, yet the first post was done by paint, with an unlabelled graph which showed wrong data!
This is getting to the point where we are affecting newer members or gullible people into selling/dumping all their coins instead of keeping them. I mean when I come on the forum, I see that its crashing, why would I buy in?
I think we need to stop giving the panicking people attention and focus more on positive sides.

i guess those people were just insecure because they are not into bitcoin or they invest on different coins or maybe its just thier silly plan/idea to create such fake news in order for the people to panic and will end up selling their bitcoins in that way the bitcoins value will also be affected to the point that it will go down or decrease therefor those greedy people can buy it cheaply on a verry low price.
They keep saying that because nothing is permanent on this world i know you know it nothing could last forever i think bitcoin will last long but this forum i think wont last long enough because the governments can take this down any minute or anytime they want . And laso they dont the true potential of bitcoin yet then doubting it will last long enough for them
Just because of their negative thought towards bitcoin and crypto. And they don't want to refresh their minds and be open-minded to find a better opportunity. Even though we can't sure it will be forever but for having this, is a wonderful experience in our life.Because there are some people who can't see past the negativity thrown at Bitcoin. I am grateful and thankful bitcoin was introduced to me because it opened my doors on opportunities. Yes we don't know until when bitcoin will be here but let's all savor it now that we all are profiting from the cryptos.
Because not all people is this site loves bitcoin and use it BTC some of them hates it because it is the biggest competition to their altcoin or new token that's why they launch false proganda in othe to destroy the image of bitcoin, they target its reputation but this also affects gullible people. We who has more knowledge about bitcoin should teach or educate newbies to not believe what everything they see in this site and do some research themselves.

In a few months staying here in the forum, members that always does that are either they want btc to become cheaper so they can buy more or they want to dethrone bitcoin and transfer the top seat to another altcoin which can be ethereum or anything close to the top.
Most people saying bitcoin is dead are those people has a mindset that bitcoin is scam. Thay always saying negative more about bitcoin because nowadays, many online business is a scam and they think , that bitcoin is one of them. As a result of negative hoax about bitcoin, its value going down, garbbing an opportunity for some investors to buy bitcoin in lower price and when the price of bitcoin return to its normal or stabilize value, its a good profit to those investors as well. 
They just want to create fear in the mind of bitcoin holder. So that, they will panic and sell their bitcoin. So they keep on saying bitcoin is dead.
Yeah it is true that want to make the bitcoin price of the bitcoin will get the more price and the income of the bitcoin will be more than this, the bitcoin price is increasing more and more. It is being more and more famous but still some of the people are spreading the bad news about the bitcoin to make the uneasy and the fearful currency for the people who are using the bitcoin for the people.Don't no about the bitcoin how to use and how to handle it. Bitcoin the improve the country people and give the more knowledge information. People will improve country also improve the economy. So it will good to use the country people and it will know the all country information and economy status. So bitcoin is help to growth the future life. Most of people don't know the bitcoin process.
i never heard that , but i hear the bitcoin is down but not mean to dead , it's currency .
When you lack info about something, it just becomes easier to denote negative traits. That's what is happening, their lack of knowledge leads to misconceptions.
this is an OP note on 02-14-2014 time ,at that time bitcoin prices are falling everyone is panicking selling ,OP look at the price right now you are more focused on the positive side and make people not panic ,this is the best record I see today here
There are so many haters of Bitcoin, and they still spreading fake and false stories and rumors about this crypto currencies, in the social media platforms, and in their blogs. One of this fake stories is telling people that BTC is dead, which was heard since many years ago.
It's something that new and hasn't been accepted by majority, yet. It's bound to get dislikes from the general public. That's jsut the way its going to go and even when the whole world accepts it, there will still be people saying bad things to it.
I think they don't know what they're talking about, maybe paranoid or a scammer. Keep on posting something like that without a ground, i guess they just want to create turmoil or fear to the holders so that they will sell their btc.
Not paranoid. They do it on purpose for their own gain. Spreading FUD and causing people who panic to sell all their coins, so that they can invest when the price is low. Either that or people who does not understand how bitcoin works and starts screaming "dead" when they see the price fall.

Some people are trying to create perception. because they want to cut the bitcoin in front of you. they want to stop the rapid rise. others complain about the lack of infrastructure and are afraid. they need to be calm, think and analyze well.
You are ability right. When something coming out of the box and people are going to like it. Then such sorts of people are getting up to cut that highness and fame. Then such rumors and notorious facts are published in market so that the user comes to conclusion of getting rid of it, ultimately results show the downfall of market. They are don´t know what bitcoin is. Know that bitcoin is unstable so it can sometimes fall very hard and rise up very high. This makes bitcoin special.
Thats why I collect now all the coins i can get of bitcoin. They will be worth a lot in the future.
