You're kinda right bro. Especially that women are emotional people by nature. I've never thought of whether I will allow my wife work or not if I become a rich man today but you cannot criticize those who decide not to allow their wives work outside when they believe they have all they need to live a life. Like what's the essence. Rather the wife should just remain at home. Eat, drink and sleep, while also taking care of their child or family.

I would have love to allow my wife work, like setting up her own business for her so she can trade and also make her contacts. As a lady, she also needs to network and build her business if I have the funds. Turning my wife to a full housewife might affect her productivity and mental health since her level of exposure to the world could be daunted with. But when you look at it from another perspective, leaving her to take care of the children isn't a bad idea but the best will remain that she needs to be engaged in a business that may not necessarily take all her time.

This is found mostly with the rich men because they feel they can do everything for the wife and she doesn’t need to stress herself to work and want to support the family. They have enough to fend for themselves and the whole family, so they find no point in her going for that extra stress to want to support the family that is already enriched with everything she can ever think of. They see this as love and not stressing the wife. A poor man will not think like this and will want the wife to also support so that they can build the family together with their incomes collectively.


This is what most of the rich men fail to understand. This life is not forever and death can come at anytime whether you’re prepared or unprepared. Allowing your wife to work can help build your children well even when you’re gone. She doesn’t need to start begging outside of your relatives to support her to cater for the children. If at all rich men can think of that and allow their wives to work, we will have a better place for most orphans wailing on the street with their mothers due to lack of sustenance to care for themselves and hardship of the country with the mother having nothing to rely on.

I don't think they forbid their wives from earning money, I think they want her to enjoy life and especially spend a lot of time taking care of their children so they can develop best. If I were rich, I would do the same, I don't want my wife to have to work hard outside. I want her to take time to take care of herself and family, especially my children. I don't want both parents to be too busy chasing money and neglect their children, leaving them lost and unloved...

If you are the breadwinner, you will have plans not only for yourself but also for your family. So if something unexpected happens to you, your wife and children will know what to do next, it's not as difficult as you think. Of course to do that you need to share all your plans and guide her through the necessary steps.

It's simple, why would she be working when the man has enough money to take care of her needs and that of the children. However in the case of a sudden death from the man which is not always the case, I believe there should be enough wealth willed to her and her children to last her a long time. Also if the man died without living anything behind, then the need for her to start working and providing for the children will arise. Moreover I think for every man that doesn't allow his wife to work has a reason for that, most times it could be for personal reasons which the man and his wife must have discussed within themselves.

Depending on your country, circumstance, and general rule between husband and wife, let the woman stay home and take care of the children.

They don't want other people to use their wives anyhow in the place of work, because once you are employed in any organization, the head department are entitle to send you or ask you to do any kind of work you are employee to do in the organization without considering the rich wife you are in the society. And some rich men also use this reason not to allow their wives to work for other men not to sleep or have sex to their wives because there are some men who are taking advantage of work to define some women in their organization.

I don't think my husband will stop me not to do online work, because you can be at home working without allowing people to see you physical and talk to you what will make you to bring shame to your husband, and moreover, my husband is capable to open any kind of business for me without stopping me not to have access to online work.

It is indeed an awkward mentality for a man to deprive his spouse from working and earn not just her own money but to also support the family financial needs.
I have come a long way brainstorming about this scenario and has come to understand that this practice is mostly happened on regions that there is no equal rights of feminism.

Well, I can only sense that men that act this way are due to preventing their wives from cheating and also as keeping her off from public exposure where her safety might not be assured when they are both not together.
But above all that, it is senseless having such acts to practice when you don't trust her before marriage and how you think she won't be safe without you .

Perhaps... If a man does not want his woman (wife) to be answerable to a man or woman on (Yes Ma/Sir) at a working environment, he should do well develop her and launch a self moderating (Self Employed) business for her so he can flexibly regulate her whole giving her the chances to make her own money and exploit on her capabilities of creating financial opportunities.

If you don't need the money, why advertise your pretty young wife to other men?   These men will bond with her on similar outside interests, and when you have an argument, where will she turm?

one of the core reason for this decision usually span from the insecurity of the man. to the fact that some men expect that their kids gets complete attention from their mum rather than allow her work and a stranger takes care of the upbringing of the children. it is a very common practice  among the rich but the end result is that the woman ends up being treated the wrong way because the man sees her as someone that brings nothing to the table other than taking care of the children which ultimately leads to aggressive cheating from the man and in the long run taking up of a second wife.

regardless of the amount of money you have, complete deprivation of your wife the opportunity of working is not the best thing you can do for her and the family. the best thing to do is to not allow her work for certain organization that you feel can be too engaging for her. opening a business for her or looking for an area of interest that will give her the liberty of still giving the home complete attention will also do the family some good. some cultures might be designed in such a way that women don't need to work but in a modern society, every one deserve to show how productive they can be regardless of the gender. training kids goes beyond always sitting at home and providing all the small attention they need. by seeing their mum engaging in some business or working and still giving them attention, it motivates the kids most especially the female kids to aspire to be like her and not hope that things must always come from men to them.

So she will have more time to make and take care of his kids for him?

Some men, particularly the rich ones prefer for their wives to stay at home and raise the children, it could be because they don't want their wives stressing out over work or business and still handle taking care of the children, it could also be because they don't want their wives feeling too independent, this is mainly because these men feel insecure and keeping their wives away from work or business make them feel superior and in charge in a sense.
Maybe some men just love their wives so much that they don't want them bothering with work, plus if the said man is to die unexpectedly, his finance goes to his family, eliminating the issue of the family having nothing if the man dies.

If I had so much money and have some investment that can take care of my family if I die, my wife will not work. She would be at home and focus on raising the children. Childraising is a full time job because children needs to be guided and cared for almost althrough the day. They reason why most women work is to support their husbands financially. If the family have a good financial backup most men will not allow their wives to work.

If you observe the wives of some rich folks, they focus on charity works and not paid or profits making jobs. If the man can meet the needs of the children and wife, what does the women need money for. Raising the children well is more important than having all the money in the world. They reason why we are having children who are not well trained is because parents have delegated childraising to nannies and teachers.

In the many part's of the  world, particularly, in the South Pole regions, it is understood that even in this contemporary time that human knowledge has greatly advanced with no society left behind to the stone age, still there are practices among men that I find very improper, even among the educated ones that would have been said to have gained some social exposure.

I am muddled to see that there are many men that have sworn never to allow their woman (wife) to be working or do any business. They just want her to stay at home feel comfortable and take good care of the home while they the men make provisions for all that family would be needing. I find this mostly with rich men.

What will make a man bar his wife from making money of her own. What if sudden death takes away the man, what will be the fate of such woman and the children.
