Yes, I agree with you, in the future, modern society will need very good progress, such as technology in Bitcoin, by using Bitcoin to make transactions safe and inexpensive between countries, so the presence of Bitcoin will create a very good economic source for the world. 
Bitcoin is needed to enhance faster transactions with regards to payment and also to reduce the cost of transaction fees. Many business personnel complain about the high fees that are charged anytime they make any payment order throuhg Central Banks. payment with the use of bitcoin is faster and cost less.

I can make a fiat payment at no cost to the buyer or seller. The transfer is almost instantaneous, and is "protected" by the bank. Confirmed Bitcoin payments can take up to an hour, and involve a fee ( which may be small). Bitcoin is great for international payments, and it has many other virtues, but it is not a payment method for everyday transactions. Lightning may change this though.
While traditional banks offers us a good place to store our hard earned money, banks will take away or charge us with fees that we don't even notice. I have seen numerous complaints about bank account getting closed with depositors claiming they still have enough money saved in the bank but because of the monthly charges that banks deducts to our hard earned money, accounts was closed without prior notice. In cryptocurrencies this will not happen, you move your money from one wallet to another wallet with a very small fees.
In my opinion. we don't only need bitcoin in this modern world. we need all digital currencies that can facilitate and support financial activities. so that our economy can increase with the facilities that can support us. and we can save time and money in the presence of digital currencies.

The smooth and hassle-free transactions which crypto can give is beyond what our current fiat currency is capable of. Agreed. They just keep printing and printing more if they feel like the supply is going down. Which then takes part of its value down. Unlike cryptocurrency, it can just adjust its own value and we can use it's divisibility feature to further use it till the last drop. That is what I like with bitcoin.
