This life is so crazy and random. There is really no point in anything we can do Sad everything is meaningless...

I use to feel the same way for a long time  Huh still do every now and then but found solace in existential humor  Cheesy .
You are right there is no point in anything we do  Grin even the sadness you feel is meaningless haha . So why be gloomy it does not matter .
George Mallory climbed Everest for no reason  Grin he climbed it cus it was there.

I am in my bathroom sitting on the pot while posting this for no reason at all lol

Paid $5k to the state gov and IRS for taxes... I always end up paying, my friends end up getting money back even if they make more than me.. I dont even know how this shit works

Bitcoin and Alt coins are down in the gutter... probably down about $10k (i don't even want to know)

Lost 52% in the stock market, held on for 2 years and finally took my losses (another 2-3 grand)

Just turned 26, still living paycheck to paycheck... my millions are no where in sight... i cannot be "middle class" for the rest of my 30's

Life fucking sucks

there's heaven.  and there's hell.  try not to get involved in the linguistics of it all, but it doesn't depend on whether u have a job or not.

in life it does depend on if you have a job or not. you have to survive and people arnt going to just give you handouts

Why? What are you expecting wealth will bring you?

I think you already know the answer to this, everyone wants to be able to have the finer things in life. Wink

But mainly financial freedom. With enough money I won't have to slave away my life for an income, I'll get to spend a lot more time with my family and won't be forced to live far away or skip out on vacations.

Wealth bring you security, confort and freedom and wealth allows you to avoid a lot of things that make you unhappy : not being able to see your family because they are far away, not being able to pay the proper care for a sick children, having your kids in a bad school because you can't afford to live in a good school district or pay for a private school...

I think that ecology and the money/happiness discussion are mostly a problem of rich people because when you are poor you are busy suffering

When you are wealthy enough you are less annoyed by losing a small amount of money because of a traffic ticket or a problem and you can eat/live healthier
I remember reading a study that calculated that your well being increase significantly until 80,000$ then it doesn't increase that much more, I think the 80k$ figure was for a couple and the study is at least 5years old..

Women in general will make an argument over everything they disagree with, so in your case, I would avoid telling her what I'm doing when it comes to btc

its funny people actually writes in this section of bitcointalk. Totally of topic , in a way its fun  Grin .

ok today i lost $200 bucks playing online poker, game of skill they say Roll Eyes . I had a fight with my girlfriend, later made up with her. bitcoin price still in the dumps, my beloved red devils totally getting shafted my that idiot moyes.

My girl is now making kebabs ( yummy) its a warm sunset outside my garden. life is sweet what more can I ask for really. Smiley

Never tell your GF how much you are betting so when you lose you avoid having an unnecessary argument with her; tell her you bet 20$ when you bet 200$ so you can live your gambling with her but she is not too stressed out by your losses; do the same when you win so it equals out

It has been working for me Smiley And the final result is the same, she knows how much I am up or down for a month or a year
I am not gambling too much anymore though

As for my life I have cashed out too early in stocks because I needed the money to invest in myself, I have lost in Gold so far (thanks to the FED and the banksters lying) and I am a small loser in BTC because of ponzis (or because of the fact that I play ponzis); I am trying to get a good stash of BTC and I am currently waiting to know if I will get the job of my dreams for this summer Smiley

Just turned 26, still living paycheck to paycheck... my millions are no where in sight... i cannot be "middle class" for the rest of my 30's

You shouldn't believe in the class system... it's just another form of oppression.

I just care about wealth, not the social status

Why? What are you expecting wealth will bring you?
