For me, there will be a money paid when participating in the prestigious airdrop program. It does not take much time and intellect. Besides, I don't need the money to invest in it

I don't understand, too, why there are so many participating airdrops appearing on this forum. They are so happy with the free token that they have little to do, but very little value is given once the quantity is increased and the smaller the rewards. So it is always a good idea to join the IEO, STO, ICO campaigns instead of joining the airdrops.
Airdrop is free and give only few task to get it. Unlike ICO,STO and IEO that you need investment just to  have those tokens. There are other way to get tokens for free like bounty but you need to wait a month or even a year before you will get paid.
Many people dont want to wait that long or give so much effort  in uncertain money.

You put in such little effort and you can get so much out. People often complain that they are not worth it or just a scam because they don't immediately see something worth selling or something listed. People are so impatient. Even if only 10% airdrops pay but they pay out a few $$ that is worth it, since all you are doing is essentially filling in a form and there are bot and things to do that for you so you do not have to over and over and over again.

I collect altcoins and tokens as hobby.  While the alt markets are down 90%, it does not affect me in anyway as I am collecting them for fun and not for their value.  In the ETH going down helps in lowering of the Gas price to transfer the coin/token to my collection.  Collecting Airdrops is the main way I add to my collection as dead coins mainly ERC20 base are hard to find.  My main challenge is getting as many airdrops completed and having my collection up to date while slowly collecting those old and ancient ERC20 coins.

Obvisouly for the free tokens, but other than that, what else incentivise you taking the time to do the airdrops? Most of the time, I found that the airdrops often give little to no return. I just started to get into the crypto thingy. I feel like it is better off finding those ICO projects and considering investing in rather than chasing like 5 dollars?

It's true airdrop doesn't give us many presents, even since you wrote this thead until now, airdrop has been unprofitable. Actually a good idea if you want to try investing in ICO / IEO, but yes it is you must be very thorough before investing in ICO / IEO. But why don't you try to follow the bounty like signature or social media and many more

Airdrop is an avenue for new project to spread the news about their themselves and increases the number of people that hold their coin/token.
I like to participate in an airdrop to help an new project to grow and also to receive some remunerations for doing so.

It used to be that way because we all know Bitcoin is the one that started the airdrop with their faucets, but now it's being used by scammers to get people's credentials, so they will give you a useless token that there's no guaranty that it will ever hit the market in exchange for your sensitive information, if you don't want to give your credentials to random people who will approach you in the street, you should do the same, with these airdrops.

I think participating in airdrop is worthless. After participating in any airdrop one had to be aleart for the projects update info.Furthermore not every airdrop do pay.Doing airdrop is Getting some worthless token really..Even after getting them in exchange they don't worth of 1$.
Before it wasn't but at current days, I guess so. Well, everyone does know that many airdrops doesn't pay anymore if they do, you've found a good airdrop and that means you're also lucky.
It's not worth it anymore but if you just want to keep working and try them with your luck since it's not time consuming for you, you can do it but being aware of the consequence that your effort could be wasted.

You made the right decision and I encourage people reading these posts that they do the same, these airdrops are worth nothing and if ever they will have a value it will just worth $1 to $10 and this is in exchange for your personal info it's like you are endangering your identity online for $1 so better think and stop doing airdrops from now on.

I don't understand, too, why there are so many participating airdrops appearing on this forum.
Is it still shocking on why most of the announcements were published here? this is the largest bitcoin/crypto forum so that's why every project aims to have their announcement threads published here.
It's easier for them to reach their community out if they are into a huge and published community like bitcointalk. That's why they have a dedicated and specific section for that kind of announcement which is the bounties.
There are too many people has been earnings in airdrop free tokens since its free nothing to lose here so more people are grabbing the oppotunity to earn from free.

and some also has already get profit from airdrop before so they continue doing it.
Yes, there's nothing to lose with those airdrops. They were for free since then but if you were aware of the complaints of most bounty hunters. Those tokens don't have any value, they were lucky to have a few token and if ever it will hit the exchange which will have its value.
Your efforts will be wasted if you are still into it. Those times when airdroppers have earned with it were gone.

I just participate if I get super bored or like the Twitter account of whomever is hawking the air drop. Otherwise, I tend not to play. I have won some BTC believe it or not on one or two of those posts where people promise it...not worth doing 1000 times though for the spam for the little amount of coin you get in my book.

After my six-month experience in 2018 of participating in airdrop, I can only declare a huge number of worthless coins. As well as difficulties with their withdrawal through crypto exchanges ... Margin, registration, KYC - all this kills my desire to participate in airdrop activities.
Many people here describe free giveaways only on the negative side, but do not forget about successful projects like Stellar or MetaHash Airdrop. The participants in the above projects earned really good money.

Because of they know that several people in this business are looking for free token, were these people doesn't care anything even they will submit kyc just for the sake of free airdrops they can receive, without being notice that documents is a very important things. And these people are hunger to get profit in crypto world due to its an easy money.

I participate in airdrops to earn few amount of tokens in exchange for cash, but not all airdrops are sucessful , 90% of airdrop these days are scam, you wont get paid after completing the tasks.
What's the point of doing that? Rather than helped them and hoping for few pennies, you can do something better

Some people follow the airdrop just to get a free token. Keep in mind, not everything that is free will benefit, There are even some airdrops that cheat airdrop hunters.
How did it happen.? By verifying KYC, airdrop hunter has given them personal data. In an era of increasingly developing technology, personal data is very valuable, so you should be careful before giving out personal data to others. Because we never know our personal data will be fully safe in their hands.

I was participated in airdrop when it was still worth with something and there was no any KYC things to do. Look at airdrop right now, there are tons of them and even asking us to provide KYC before we get our reward (if that's worth some)

There are many people submitting the documents and participating in the Airdrops but nobody is getting accurate rewards which it is not possible for them to sell them in the market. Almost all of them are fake Airdrops, so it is not a good idea to submit our documents to companies.
