So? Do you even lift? If so explain why.

No, but I exercise daily. What is the use of lifting if you have not gained or increased any strength or performance in a better way? (this does happen to people) .  I'm a girl btw. But I do cardiovascular exercises with strength training and jogging daily.

I used to lift for gains in the bear market, but trends have changed so now I don't lift.

We need to lift, to keep our muscular body with curves and cuts to make it visible as Masculine strengths. Besides that it will keep our body system active and warmth, doing exercise indeed increases the metabolism in our body cells. There is more to explain about this but I make it in short and simple.

If I don't do lifting at least 1-2 a week I'll start to feel pain and discomfort after some time, so no other option

I often lift weights, because for one I am a athlete but also it helps me stay healthy, and feel good about myself. Tons of people look at themselves in the mirror every morning and are dissapointed in what they look like. I have vowed to never have that happen to me, i'm not a crazy gym junky that goes to the gym at 6am and comes back at 6pm, but I do lift enough to keep me in good health and to have me be proud of my body whenever I go to the beach.

We seem to have a similar mentality towards this.  The other thing is that when you get into good shape (good is relative, but whatever the peak is) it doesn't feel nearly as good when I'm (relatively) out of shape.

When I compare how I feel between those two states, life is way better when I'm in good shape.  We all have to drag around this bag of skin our whole life...might as well take care of it...and push it to the limit every now and then for the thrill Smiley

I don't lift ,i used to.But i don't anymore. I used to lift to tone down my arms and increase their strength. People lift to increase their muscle power or bicep size. They lift to feel good and look good.

I don't lift. But many people in wheelchairs do, because it is hard rolling a wheelchair up the stairs all by yourself. A lift is a lot easier.

I sit in front of the computer for 6-8 hours a day and if I don't exercise, I may die of cardiac arrest due to unwanted fats being stuck in my body. Also to maintain a good shape so my wife won't look for any other guys lol.

People get use to it after awhile. It becomes their routine so it goes into their lifestyle like running or jogging first thing in the morning. When i use to lift I'd get a muscle tear that apparently makes you feel good when you continuously lift weighs. It gives an adrenaline high that I hear is similar to a high from meth.  Tongue

I lift and run 5-6 days a week. It improves my stress, appetite, sleep, anxiety, mood, energy and overall health. That's why I do it.

I do do it sometimes, while most of the times I usually go for a run or go cycling or play some sports.

Your body and mind are the only things in your life that you can always train.
The question is why would you not want to do it?
