I'm just completely fascinated by BTC. It's hard to pin down a reason, but it seems like a disruptive technology in its infancy -- with limitless potential.

This should be a Bitcoin commercial and a huge selling point to get new adopters.
I like bitcoins because they are shiny !

I use Bitcoin because I believe it represents the best features amongst currencies.
Specifically:
- Nobody can change the rules on the fly, freeze your assets because they don't agree with your actions or levy excessive charges on you for spending your own money.
- Anonymity allows businesses which are illegal for ideological reasons to flourish, specifically gambling-related organisations and the drugs trade (although I'm not involved in the latter).
- It's just damned convenient.

Freedom of Government and Banks telling me how to spend my money and when I need to pay either entity when I haven't made any previous arrangements to pay compensation for something or they with held information that I wasn't aware of initially then had to pay the consequences I was unaware of.
When Bitcoins are accepted everywhere I will not have to worry about exchange rates when I travel to different countries that are widely accepting Bitcoins, so there's that whole convenience factor involved.
