What is your reason why bitcoin should stay in the next 100 years! when the government are worried about it?

There is no assurance that Bitcoin will stay in the next 100 years.  We never know what will happen in the future.  There is a possibility that government will have a all through out battle against Bitcoin and ban it everywhere, or accept it as mode of payment or legal tender.  We really never know what will happen in the future so whatever benefits we have today with Bitcoin, lets just enjoy it and hope it will last.

Maybe our opinions about bitcoin can give hedge to the government.

Well, if the government see that engaging in Bitcoin is profitable for their citizen, and lessen the financial burden of the government, they might engage with Bitcoin positively and probably lead in Bitcoin adoption.

Because Bitcoin has been tested, do you think that after 14 years in this industry, will you doubt Bitcoin? It's really proven and tested, especially in the long-term issue, try to see, as time goes on or time passes, the value of bitcoin continues to increase in the market.
Take note that there are many other countries that are hindering the concept of bitcoin in terms of blockchain technology, but they cannot subdue and control it, meaning that bitcoin actually has something that the majority do not have.
Its value can be volatile, and there are still regulatory and security concerns surrounding it. Moreover, the future of Bitcoin's role in the financial system and its long-term sustainability remain uncertain.

While some countries may be hesitant about embracing Bitcoin and blockchain technology, others have been more open to it. Nevertheless, the global regulatory landscape for cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology is still evolving, and it remains to be seen how it will impact the adoption and use of Bitcoin in the long term.

Although I cannot say for sure about what others think, I believe that the most common reason as to why Crypto enthusiasts wants Bitcoin to stay and flourish is because of the fact that we have already experienced the benefits that Bitcoin provides to its users. Like privacy to an extent, profitability, ease of access, less hassle with transacting from all over the world, etc., etc. Although there are some negative sides to it, most of the time these negative sides are mainly caused by a user's negligence, lack of knowledge or carelessness and not by Bitcoin itself. While humans never really needed Bitcoin, those who have already experienced it cannot easily let go of it anymore.

Bitcoin is well known and popular in most countries, but many people still do not use it because of concerns about its legitimacy. Many governments still haven't accepted bitcoin so people haven't dared to use it yet. But I believe that with the huge taxes that the market brings, sooner or later governments will accept it in the future. It cannot be a currency, a method of payment, but at least it will be a commodity, an asset.
Your government doesn't have to accept it for you to use it, that is one of the great things about BTC, it is permissionless, you don't need permission from any authority to use it, the only problem may be when they ban it because you would then be scared of legal problems if you are caught using BTC. BTC is a currency and is being used as a method of payment, if i want to sell something to you right now, i can accept BTC as payment for what you are buying, that's why it is a currency.

It's easy to say that I want to stay in Bitcoin because it's better for my life when I invest in Bitcoin and hold it for the long term. If I wasn't into Bitcoin, my life would probably be the same, but now I'm investing in Bitcoin and I've changed myself a lot. We strongly believe in Bitcoin and it is true that Bitcoin will last forever. For an investor Bitcoin is very valuable for his future. Having bitcoins can solve a variety of problems ranging from a person's financial problems. I think the importance of Bitcoin in every phase of my life is immense.

First and foremost,  when a revolution happens you don't fight it but embrace it and bitcoin being that revolution of money to usher in digital currencies, it will always have a spot in this ecosystem and this justifies its reason to stay and hold on to its number one spot.

Other obvious generic reasons range from financial freedom, money without boarders, you act as your own bank with no middlemen whatsoever , its the new gold which is available to all.

Bitcoin should stay and will stay more than 100 years
100 years is a long time and one thing thats certain is that this generation is in the digital  age and they will embrace and continue  to use cryprocurrencies but with new regulations and  all this might turn out different  for bitcoin, but hoping for the best.

It cannot be a currency, a method of payment, but at least it will be a commodity, an asset.
It can be a viable payment method, especially for international transfers. Don't forget that you can move any sums ($10 or $10 million) for only a few cents and relatively quickly. You don't get that with other mediums of transfer. Plus there is the speculative aspect we all know and love.

Bitcoin should stay and will stay more than 100 years, there is nothing the government will do about it. The worse they will try to fight it but it will keep the privacy purpose it was been established to do. Government can not fight the bitcoin network, they do not have access to it, they can only let some people be afraid that they will sanction them at worse. This is where people will turn to the p2p and will continue in the decentralized mechanism.

The government will not try something so stupid about bitcoin, the reason is that many alternatives will be present in the future. The government's CBDC will be will be part of it.

I can tell you without any doubts that the governments of this world are going to put up a fight to protect local Fiat currencies. They know local currencies and reserve countries can be used to control people's wealth, so they are going to protect that ability to control people's financial future.

In the end... inflation and devaluation of Fiat currencies will destroy it... and the governments of the world will have no "tools" to manipulate it anymore... like what happened in some 3rd world countries.
The tools of control will change but they will always be there. I am not as optimistic as you are. Traditional fiat will be replaced with digital programmable money. And people will gladly accept it. That's the new face of control. A complete history of your income and spending power. If you aren't an obedient little citizen, they'll just turn off certain ways in which you can spend your money. No more hobbies for you. Next time, you will think hard before criticizing and badmouthing Big Brother because they will place additional limitations on you than just your hobbies. I just wonder what event will initiate this new world.

Yes, and that's why having a decentralized alternative is so important. Even if not all the people are using it, its existence makes the system work more cautious and less repressive, because they know that there is a true competitor. And I hope bitcoin will stand, because it gives some opportunities to all around the world, even those who yet don't know what it is. Of course governments are trying to increse the level of control over bitcoin and they have some success with that, but  they still have no option of total control over it and that's giving us a chanse.

I'm not against governments, I'm against overcontrol they always want to collect. They should have not more control than needed for base working.

Apart from providing me an extra source of income in trading it, Bitcoin has proved to me that it's a seamless transaction whenever I use it for investment as against the bottleneck that arises when using fiat. I make a transfer to an account I'm funding and within minutes it reflects. That's the beauty of Bitcoin as it cuts off middleman in the game. So, who wouldn't want it to stay even if it's just for the stress it takes off one? The same transaction that could take me days paying with fiat, it's just a few minutes with Bitcoin payment.

I want bitcoin to stay because it gives me a small amount of money that makes my life more abundant. As for the other aspect, it doesn't take 100 years; I think in the next 20–30 years, it can play an important role in the global transition to the digital economy. Because of Bitcoin's independence, this ensures privacy and security for users and can help reduce financial and political risks. And since this is a bitcoin forum, almost everyone has a good feeling about it because, like me, bitcoin has changed my life so much.
Bitcoin is independent and have a really long way to go. 20-30 years is enough for Bitcoin to circulate the good sector of the world's economy. Transition is given a chance in existence of Bitcoin, investors and companies are bagging more coins because they've been briefed on the potential chances of Bitcoin. Bitcoin is important and it's adaptation in our modern economy have bring more chances of independent income in our everyday social live. Bitcoins will be recognizable in every country in the coming years, popularity is spreading very fast.

We most not have same idea while bitcoin is to be in existence, the founder of bitcoin which is satoshi and cabinet's have the reason reasons while they established and launched bitcoin,  actually bitcoin is a digital currency that have it own ways of values,  its when people have not known bitcoin very well they disregard bitcoin, but now many people have know the values and the important  of bitcoin in regards intercontinental transactions with bitcoin, from my perspective I will like bitcoin to continue be in existence because it reduces stress to man kind during transactions, so that's the reason while I said that everyone have it interior motive of liking bitcoin to stay till infinity or to have either long span or short span duration. Because since the existence of bitcoin it brought a similar technologies that's like bitcoin,  so if bitcoin continues to exist we will have numerous technologies than might be of same relevant with bitcoin.

Maybe our opinions about bitcoin can give hedge to the government.
I'm not going to make assumptions like this, so bitcoin could exist in the next 100 years or maybe it will be replaced in the next 10 - 20 years.

This is a risk, even none of us are brave enough to guarantee that bitcoin will survive another 20 years. Governments can prevent you from using bitcoin at any time even though you are currently free to spend them anywhere. If you believe in the potential of bitcoin, then you still have to consider the risk of loss. But anyway, I don't expect the government to ban bitcoin permanently, shut down all exchange services or anything in the short, medium or long term. It is possible for governments to consider bitcoin as profitable in the future regardless of their current perception.

But most believe the bitcoin to be best when considering many other offers. We see what other can't see in bitcoin, we trust bitcoin to improve standard of living, we keep buying for the project to survive threats. But we never ask what if the whole stuff varnish overnight?

Power of POW (proof of work). It is not centralized and the one who created it, his/their identity is still unknown. So even if you try, you can't make it vanish overnight. This is also the reason why Bitcoin is still at the top of the leaderboard. People still have faith in Bitcoin. Why should anyone have trust in something which is controlled by other entity and could be manipulated at any time?
Those who understand this concept, will always stay with bitcoin.
Either we want for it to stay or not. It will still exist. Because there will always be other people having trust in Bitcoin.

Bitcoin has the potential to revolutionize the way we think about money and finance. Its decentralized nature and the underlying blockchain technology can bring about transparency and security to financial transactions. While there are risks and uncertainties, it is important to consider the potential benefits of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in the long run.

Thinking about the bitcoin 100 years from now is far away  journey I guess. However, considering the past 13-14 years journey of bitcoin we already have got enough proofs that bitcoin can always outperform in any situation. It’s becoming rugged and more deep rooted as an asset or currency.

Definitely it has got astonishing future ahead. We are actually working with digital currency that has changed the world already. What I mean is, governments and banks are thinking about it, they are in search of proper regulations and infra structure which can help them embed the tech in system.

I could imagine it’s already bright star stuff. That’s why I want to be with it from the start.
