The title needs correction.
It's not YOUR country which sucks, they ALL do.

The only solution is to stop acting like a citizen, to stop paying taxes, and to travel all the time, being a tourist wherever you are. Enjoy life!
Still needs a nationality to get passport and to pass the immigration on airports.Or you will be called as refugee and treated as slave.

Username checks out lol. I don't think all countries suck, I mean traveling all the time still means you are spending time in a country. In a first world country, today, you have tremendous opportunities to be whatever you want to. Even if you are from a poor family, you still have a lot of opportunity to do something with your life.

My country sucks because most of government officials are corrupt. The development of my country is very slow because of this. Instead of utilizing all resources for the development of the community, it is reduced and being controlled by the corrupt official. This is significantly affecting citizens of our country. This corruption not just end at that. In this material world, money is a important and essential factor to make improvement and advancement needed by the society to progress and prosper. However, since corruption is rampant, again, the progress is really slow. Which really sucks.

I envy you lucky Canadian. In the EU it's much worse and if you were to live in Eastern Europe you'd probably cry yourself to death, judging by how you're crying about your current conditions. I'll give you a hint how to notice the differences. Take an average EU country and compare how much people are earning there and what are the prices in stores.
Take Germany for instance, which is a pretty good economy and a rich country. Wages are similar to what you have in Canada, but max income tax is 42%! There's also vat, but in Canada it can be as low as 5% in some provinces, in some it's up to 15%. In Germany it's 19%! Go to one of the poorer EU member countries and you'll see it's much worse there. You need to travel a bit to understand how easy your life is.

I will give you the same remedy you are giving the guy who lives in Canada. For full transparency , I live in Eastern Europe.

If you feel like you live badly in the Eastern Europe, pack a bag, buy a ticket to India or Bangaldesh, get a visa and take a look how people live there. Make yourself understand that high taxes in Europe are nothing compared to living standards in poorest regions of the world where BILLIONS live.

It kinds of make things more interesting when a person says what country they are talking about.  If you will get a bullet to the back of the head for speaking your mind then it might not be worth responding to this thread at all because you'll probably get caught anyway.

'corrupt politicians' seems to be a common thread.  I wish people would dig a little deeper to understand the mechanics of how and why they end up with corrupt politicians.

My analysis is that this eventuality is pretty much assured under a debt-based fiat monetary regime, and especially one which is effectively controlled by entities who are not in any sense part of one's country.  We Americans suffer from this phenomonon with the (non-)US Dollar system as I see it.

Its quite simple, most politicians arent corrupt just like most cops arent evil, however people only remember the bad ones and they think all of them are the same. Power corrupts people, you, me, we have no power, we cant be corrupt even if we wanted to but maybe if we had that kind of power we would be corrupt too, it has nothing to do with conspiracies.

I will not reject your hypothesis out-of-hand.  You have a theory which could be tested, and I don't have the time/interest to do so.

My 'perception' is that in the U.S., the higher one goes up the political chain, the more likely they are to be corrupt scumbags.  There almost certainly IS something to explain that since the phenomenon is to strong to ignore.  Your (perfectly valid) point of view seems to be that it is the 'absolute power corrupts absolutely' phenomenon.

My point of view is that there is probably more to it.  I suspect that the real powers don't normally play on the political stage.  They tend to animate people who will, and usually use money to do so.  I also strongly suspect that said powers communicate and, to a degree, cooperate with one another without publicly advertising their communications.  If true, that is by definition a 'conspiracy'.

One need not look very hard to see evidence that groupings of people support politicians, and the politicians do what said groupings want if they received help from such groupings.  For instance it is often said that without AIPAC support it is damn difficult to obtain a political office at the federal level and even more difficult to keep it.  Everything I can see tells me that this is exactly the case, and it is the case that such politicians inevitably support AIPAC priorities.

There is a certain incident in our country, China's fishing vessel "accidentally" crashing to our country's fishing vessel. Our President says that it is just an "accident", and did nothing about that. The government helped the people on that vessel but they had nothing to do about that China's fishing vessel crossing the border and crashing their fishing vessel that is said to be an "accident".

My country suck more than the word suck itself. Corruption is at it's peak from top to bottom. Everybody is using his or her office to gain through corruption. These politicians also come making fake promises and when they are voted into power, they just tend to forget the very people who voted them up there. No developmental projects in the regions and subdistricts and this is makes the nation sucks.

UK here.

Cons:
  • Short-termism. Government is only interested in quick fix rather than any long-term planning.
  • The elite. Government (and BBC the main TV channel) is packed out with people who went to Eton private school, and live in a privileged bubble.
  • Vampirism. (not the Dracula/bats/dinner suit stuff, that would be cool) Government either beholden to or in league with corporate sector, privatising everything and bleeding the country dry. National Health Service is under siege.
  • Arrogance. Widespread delusion that Britain still rules the world and is better than everyone else, as manifested in the idiocy of Brexit from the EU.
  • "Democracy" has been debased by exploiting the fact that people are idiots. Any rabid tabloid newspaper headline can get half the country baying for blood.
  • Fox Hunting and bloodsports. WTF?

Pros:
  • We are fortunate geographically, safe from earthquakes, tornados, temperature extremes, and invading armies
  • Our dubious historical legacy means half the world speaks English, which can be convenient.

Reading this thread I feel like crying. The oppression by the political and financial elites is the same all over the world and most time I am tempted to thing if something is seriously affecting human relationships that we did not know. I think, there is a serious conspiracy against the poor and the weak one in our society!

It is really depressing and its not like you can just go somewhere and try to create your own country.  According to a study Finland, Denmark, and Norway has the happiest people.  They have very strong social programs to help the less fortunate.

Wait, is the tax rate in East Europe EU members the same as those in the West?

Also, 19% VAT is ridiculous. You even exceeded my 3rd World shithole's 12%. Do you have VAT-exempt goods?

Just for your guys reference, when I worked in Silicon Valley either 43% or 47% of my paycheck was taken out before I got it, and I was one of the few people who didn't have a 401k or whatever.  Gasoline costs quite a bit more there than almost anywhere else in the country, as do electricity, water, etc.  Since I had no interest in owning property in that shit-hole I rented the cheapest apartment I could find, and I always switch apartments within several weeks of switching jobs.

I think my friend who bought a place down there pays something like $40,000 per year in taxes for the privilege of living in his own house.  And he gets exercise dodging the human feces and drug needles which litter the streets.

401K, isn't that like your social security pension stuff? Yeah, you'd probably only take 40% of your salary if that would also be deducted. I suppose it's cheaper outside the coast but there's less available jobs.

I see a lot of videos talking about the shitfest in some cities in California. Really shocking, like, I don't even see stuff like that in my low-income neighborhood. Even the people in the slums don't leave their shit on the street.

IMO you are just a whiny baby, if you live in Canada, you are living in better conditions than a ton of people, you have every opportunity to do whatever you want there, if you haven't accomplished anything, it's on you, anyone can do almost anything, whether you are a man/woman, poor/rich, etc.

I rather live on a remote island or the amazon under no rule of law, then these double standard laws where groups do not have to follow but everyone else does. I do not have every opportunity to do what I want here if you read the top of the post, I cannot sell weed, I cannot sell booze, I can`t grow certain things on my land, My farm lands cannot be built on because they are zoned "green belt" The government tells me what I can and can not grow or what I can and cannot do with my land.  I have accomplished more than most people, I`ve fed millions if not billions in my 31 years and kept more people alive than all religious leaders and politicians combined. I have made over 50 homes for people to live in. I donated over 10k to charity last year gave 1/2 of all my income to sick kids in a 3rd world country (gamingforgood). I still rather live in butt fuck nowhere than here so I don`t need to get assaulted another 10times by my police force, that I pay. I rather not fund war machines and have to give up 30% of my WORK! to murders, enslavers, thugs and the mob.

Bro, you better take care that you will end up living in a 1000y Kingdom ruled by The Lord Jesus Christ.

I don`t believe in Jesus or the Devil so I doubt it, HEY IF THERE IS A JESUS OR A SATAN KILL ME RIGHT NOW! (welp guess what I am right here) I have a Omniscient creator who is not a dumbass and would not create a son to die for the rest of us or a devil, use your brain brother. It would already know what they are going to do.
