Early this year all coins are bleeding including bitcoin ans ethereum. But now bitcoin has gone up a bit, I think people exchange ethereum to bitcoin also realize that it's time to invest in altcoins other than ethereum so they spent it.
Because many altcoins are going still down and bitcoin going up, we just need some time to go on another ride to the moon, i think in summer.
