3 hours to get 37k satoshis??? and using over 100 faucets???

The problem with who ever made this analysis is that he probably used faucets that give you less than 500 satoshis, which are in fact not worth your time, since there's faucets there paying you over 1000 satoshis. If you spend hours running faucets to get 200 satoshis again and again and again you won't make any profit, you will just end up wasting time. In my opinion, the best way to use faucets is to go on a list/rotator and run the highest paying first, makejar.com for example, has about 20~30 faucets paying 1000 satoshis or more, so in a few minutes you will get at least 20k satoshis, then you will face the reward decreasing (bc this faucets normally has long timers): 900>800>500... once you get to the ones that pay less than 500 satoshis, you stop and do something else or keep running the 500~700 satoshis faucets that will show up every hour and meanwhile you use the low paying ones (200~300), that's when it starts to get boring, but when you start to do that you will already have made over 50k satoshis, you can do that until you reach your threshold, i normally make 100k satoshis in a few hours everyday just to buy hashpower on ZeusHash.com.
wow zueshash as well as cloudmining is considered ponzi scheme lately Grin

i agree they dont pay very much but they have there place especially in poorer countries where they dont earn alot.  signature campaigns are great as you can see i am converted.  the one faucet i like is moon bitcoin faucet which pays out on a countdown so the longer you leave it the more you get and it takes 30sec.
Exactly, that is as well my top favourite faucet. I find no one giving more.

I found faucets good to begin. It was very good to see the first sat BTC coming in my wallet when i started. I was very happy with that. NOw i understand that they don't have very much value, but within 5 or 10 years. You never know.
Nowadays i use a few faucets giving an acceptable amount. NOt 50 sat BTC, that's wasting time for me.

I agree with you. These satoshi amounts might be a lot more valuable in some years.
I hope so ... one day .... you never know.
There are a few faucets which give a good amount of satoshi. THere are not very much of them. Only a few. These do i visit every day a few times.

I haven't done any faucets in a LONG time, but the last ones I remember were so full of ads as to be nearly unusable (page load times). A few even contained malware.

The conclusion is good but you could visit other faucets who pays more than 1,000 satoshis at once, but it really is not worth the time using faucets.

in 3 hours of good faucet you don't earn only 37800 satoshi. The user have only used a rotator with low faucet, if use only the best with 1000/2000 satoshi , earn 100.000 satoshi and more for hour

Yea, he has been doing the wrong list. The more the price of bitcoins go up the more its worth to do faucets. @ 10,000 satoshi right now is 5 cents. For someone that lives in another country it is worth it to them. You have to remember some only make 5$ a day average and as far as internet goes, most use their phones  and everyone in africa has phones!

lol they all have phones and internet, I can just about to have internet never mind a phone, they are way expensive for me.
Phones break a lot, they also get stolen or lost.

My very first mobile phone looked like this.

Africa is my next home  Cheesy

But faucets are cool almost have 2 bitcoins from them.

faucet not is a wast time because if you use only the best faucet with high rewards, you can earn already 200.000 and more satoshi a day. Newbie not use signature , use faucet. And already faucet is very good if you see a new faucet and have more ref, any faucet pay already 100% of ref earning

user /u/cuckolddesu on reddit did a very great analysis of "3 hours of doing bitcoin faucets"

Quote
Total amount of faucets done:128
Total amount of faucets I actually managed to get working:103
Total amount of withdraw:1KZnGwTnUodUtm5N2yjcQVac9ppgD7TNEG 0.00037884 BTC
AVG per faucet:350 satoshi
Time started:21:22 gmt +2 time finished 0:22 gmt +2
BTC TO USD EARNED:$.15 This translates to 0.05$/hour
This means if I'd do it as a full time job I'd earn 40 cents a day and about 8.4$ a month
The minimal wage wage in Uganda is 0,01125 USD/hrs. (The lowest minimal wage country)
That means we are making 5 times the minimal wage of Uganda.
In general it do not seem like a worthy choice for a new bitcoin user to try to earn money with faucet,if you live in an extremely undeveloped country you might be able to make 0,5$ an hour but thats about it.
I also do not recommend it to anyone as I started losing my sanity in the end, first off 99% of the sites force you to turn off adblock,
about 50% of the sites have some sort of trick and the rest 50% only ask for a captcha code.
Most sites are trying to bait you into clicking on the ads.
you can see all sites I've used on my faucetbox account

If you'd like to know about any other info let me know

this is the single best thread to argue against faucet evangelists.

If you're looking for a start, check out this forums' signature campaigns where you get paid for posting - that way you don't burn out using trillions of horrible faucets and you earn much more.

Signature Campaign overview: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/overview-of-bitcointalk-signature-ad-campaigns-last-update-01-jan-23-615953

He spent 3 hours to claim from 128 faucets? In what year he did it and how?
I resolved in one minute 2-3 faucet, let's say 3 in one minute-that is 40 minutes for 120 faucet, max 1 hour of time.To get the most from the faucet  users should use all available methods like rotators and all other help like easysubmit.Earnings from faucet is modest these days especially, but 100k satoshi is worth 0.4$ now,and how much will be worth for 6 months, 1 year or 5 years?

Here's just one example, for 6+ minutes 18 000+ Satoshi and that user is spent 3 hours for 37884?

I found them useful for learning about bitcoins but not very profitable.
if you want to learn serious about bitcoin, try joining a signature campaign because you will have to go around the forum find topics and comment on them while you are doing that, you will learn about bitcoin. Faucets are about sending and receiving bitcoins I think.

I would not say signature campaign are for everyone, but faucers are certainly not a good way to learn about bitcoin. Bitcoin behaves differently with lots of small inputs which are typical for faucets, but not for normal use. The fees are higher and the transactions will be slower. If you want to learn about how bitcoin behaves without any costs I suggest you install a tBTC (testnet bitcoin) wallet. They exist for smartphones as well, there is no need to have a full node, e.g. "schildbach app". Testnet faucets easily give you >0.5 tBTC which is a reasonable amount to understand how bitcoin behaves.

It is obvious, even without the thorough analysis that they're not worth the effort. They look easy for the newbies to earn a few satoshis, when they're just starting with Bitcoin but they realize it soon enough that they're a waste of time. Also the satoshis you earn from these are in so many small inputs that they increase the fee size and you loose even more when you try to spend them.

I agree that faucets are absolutely not worth your time but newbies tend to find this way to earn bitcoin the easiest and quickest way despite small earning without realizing that it's not worth at all
