Which government do you mean? Because some countries (governments) legalize cryptocurrency. Maybe the reason some countries (governments) who reject crypto are for security. Because we know the anonymous nature of crypto makes many cryptocurrency misused, especially for terrorists.

Government are always scared of the possibility crypto currency can offer the whole world, crypto currency is always improving and finding a to make the world easier for everyone where anyone can be anything they want, people can sit at home making millions from buying and selling crypto currency and governments dont like the fact that they dont have control over the finances and the fact that we dont need to pay taxes is a very big issue for them

I think because you can do any transaction of any amount at any corner of street and that too without the intervention of third party. Right now crypto are not under any specific control and there are no regulation to keep al check over it.moreover it is bit technical for every one to understan it and doing transaction through it

Many governments are afraid that if they approve crypto transactions then it will make huge impact on their own country currency as crypto transactions charge very low fee for each transaction and it is also a very fast transfer.

In this case, a lot of money will flow past the tax system, and the state will keep on taxes, without them it will begin to fall apart.
Therefore, states, like banks, dream of introducing a tax on the use of cryptocurrencies, and such attempts are already known.

Although governments say they do not accept cryptocurrency because of the high risk of fraud, as evidenced by numerous examples of scam projects. And because of the lack of regulation.
And they justify their bans by taking care of ordinary investors. We all understand the true reasons for the ban. They are all listed in the previous posts.

Just the government can not yet control the cryptocurrency. In cryptography, he sees fraudulent schemes, lack of control, tax evasion.

There are a few reasons why some countries do not like other currencies first cryptocurrencies can easily be used for crime due to be anonymous nature of transactions secondary cryptocurrencies can also be a threat to the national currency of any country so some countries that want to protect their national currency will likely not accept cryptocurrencies and thirdly cryptocurrency is still unregulated and as long as that continues a lot of countries will likely not show interest in it.

Cryptocurrency is the most popular terms nowadays. People like cryptocurrency so much. Many people are involving in the crypto world. Everyone wants to earn money from cryptocurrency. While people are liking cryptocurrency, Government does not like it at all. In some countries, the government banned the cryptocurrency. What is the reason behind this banned?

The truth is that the government always want to be in control of any financial event, and thats why in the stock market, the government has a hand in it in few percentages.
I think crypto currency needs to let the government regulate icos, to prevent frauds and unnecessary dumps

In vain, you are so, many governments have oriented themselves in time and began to receive good taxes to the state budget from cryptocurrency!
such countries can be counted on the fingers, their number is too small to talk about some adoption of the cryptocurrency, which of course is very sad and hinders the development

I am sure that many governments in the world will accept crypto. It seems to me that this will help make the world a better place.
It's not a lot but some countries already accepted and give crypto a permission to operate in such country. Just like JPAN which already given license to the exchange site. Canada was allowing hdac to operate on its country.

To this topic, China may soon invest again in cryptocurrency, and this may again give impetus to the bull market. Two, three months and see if it will be so.

The government wants to control the economy the old fashion way of having white collar slaves. They are afraid that if Crypto takes over the financial system, they will lose control over the complete economy and people will no longer need their traditional banking system. The cannot regulate Crypto and most importantly cannot impose new rules or taxes on Crypto.

However, some government have seen the potential of Crypto and trying to adapt them. Hopefully we will get there someday where everyone understands the real value of running things on blockchain.

The trickiest part is no government will allow crypto to challenge their monopoly in printing money, while that's most altcoin does.

Cryptocurrency is an investment that is quite risky. the price is very volatile and in my opinion that is one of the reasons why many countries have still not given an attitude towards cryptocurrency whether it supports or not

Government doesn't want crypto to legalize because they will lose the control of your fund once it becomes totally legalize. They want to make you obey them, they want to control your fund. Beside this, they want to have a lot of taxes too, lol.

The government does not like crypto because the state wants to fully control their financial system, it is too dangerous if the financial system is full of decentralization so that it can threaten the country's economic stability.

The government don't like it because it is decentralized. Just like a country having a political party and opposition party which is a threat to their existence.

The governments do not support the idea of decentralization because it gives power back to the people especially if it relates to finances of which cryptocurrency play a part. The governments claim that cryptocurrencies are involved in drug trafficking, money laundering, terrorism funding etc because it is not regulated and cannot be tracked the people behind a transaction due to the anonymous feature. This is the main reason why the issue of KYC is becoming a paramount one of late.
