The government does not like cryptocurrency because they can not control it. The fact is that the government doesn’t want what we earn here. Because they rage.
Because Govt. will lose control over people if they use cryptocurrency. Govt. wants to rule and control the people and economy as like as they want. Also, if people use cryptocurrency, govt will not be able to collect the correct amount of taxes. BTW, in most of the countries, cryptocurrency is legal and people using it without a problem.
not dislike, it's just that the government is afraid that cryptocurrencies are used for Money Laundering, Corruption, Terrorist Funding, Fraud, and Tax Evasion. I think the fear of the government is very natural because cryptocurrency systems are still not too well controlled. I hope they find a solution because cryptocurrencies are very good and will be the needs of the world community in the future.
We like cryptocurrency because they are easy to trade. And the bad side of it is that you can be hacked. Or criminals can trade through crypto without being caught. That's why the government does not like them, they are hard to control it
Government hate crypto because its decentralized and the can't control it and government belief they have power over everything since they don't have power over crypto they have to hate it for that
This is more on investment that's why some country ban this before like china because this is a way to risk money and then they don't have benefits here like they got nothing here in crypto,Moreover in the future the knowledge of crypto currency will turn popular because we need this in life like the transaction with low fees,then this is good to save money and good for investment even really risky

the reason every country prohibits crypto is different only. some think that crypto has a negative impact, and some say that crypto is a loss to a country. but that too all of course is not the truth.

There are governments who don’t hate Bitcoin, just like in Russia, Sweden and other countries where don’t really see it as a threat. In my country, I don’t even know if our government hates Bitcoin or like it, cause I never see them say anything about and its not really recognized by the people, majority has no interest in it. Maybe due to lots of people don’t have interests that’s why the government seems to neglect it. 
I think governments just don't like the fact that part of the money is floating past them, avoiding taxation. All this is very difficult, to create a legal framework for cryptocurrency, and while it is not, we will constantly face some new prohibitions.

For me it's a misinterpretation of any government in any country because if they cannot get taxes directly in cryptocurrency transactions, they can get taxes from those people who earned profits from crypto word cause that money are used to purchase anything goods which is subject for taxes.

That's why a lot of government try to follow the trend and they are all trying to create such a new technology to replace their old technology. remember about a lot of bankers gave created so many partnership with crypto company to create such a blockchain consortium. just take a look on ripple and how it has created a lot of partnerships.
