I rather have Bitcoin instead of cash because:
It is safer
It can't get robbed from them
It can't break
It can't fall out of your pocket
but I'm sure you're still dependent on cash to any shopping to your needs dude. we do prefer bitcoin than the form of cash
but we still need cash at this time
Yeah cash is the priority when it comes to shopping or daily needs purchase. But actually bitcoins can dominate the world totally had the big countries just allow them at daily shops, which though seems like impossible.
Moreover there are issues like confirmation time which we cannot just neglect since no one can wait 1 hour after the payment is made for confirmations.

for my opinion bitcoin is currency very flexible for cross-border transactions in addition to the fee is smaller in the use bitcoin transaction, comparison with western union enormous costs for shipping between countries ..
so in my opinion better than the bitcoin holds cash if it is used for transactions between countries  Smiley
of course bitcoin flexible and inexpensive as in digital form instead of cash. I think there are many other advantages of bitcoin as the form of cash. That's why digital will be prioritized in the future
technology always come to help people's life better and easier , so do in digital money it's help how the transaction form work makes you able to send/receieve money anywhere and anytime really flexible . the problem are only when there some people who don't want even know about bitcoin and makes adoption grow so slow.

However, there are still many people do not want to admit that Bitcoin will soon replace other type of currency to become the world best digital currency. Most of them still believe that Fiat will continue to exist for the next 1000 years

Bitcoin is already the world's best digital currency. But fiat isn't necessarily digital. It has a digital form but it also has a physical form. Since bitcoin only have a digital form (of course there's physical bitcoin that has a wallet in it, I know), it would be hard for bitcoin to replace all the other currencies since not everyone has an Internet connection and not everyone's tech savvy.

I also believe that fiat will continue to exist for a couple more decades. Believing that fiat will continue for the next 1000 years is absurd, IMO, because a lot of things can happen on that time. A lot of revolution and wars can happen. That's beyond foreseeable or predictable.

I agree with that,  bitcoin does provide convenience and freedom to users. not only that, if we go abroad and carry cash more than $ 10,000 also need special attention and will be a bit impractical, because we had to fill out a form to report. if we forget then we have to pay a fine of 10%. if we use bitcoin will be more practical because if stored in an online wallet then we only need to access the internet to be able to use our money. and most importantly we do not need to fear for theft.

Speaking of money transfers then bitcoin would really beat them all speaking of convenience and accuracy on transfering amounts with less fee this is really the advantage of bitcoin which do most people do really love but considering on its state it cant still kill those money remitances because people who doesnt know bitcoin will still use it no matter what.

I recently paid for some local tacos using Bitcoin. My friend who was unfamilar with Bitcoin thought it was strange, like I technically didn't pay for them or something. We got into discussing Bitcoin and one of the questions he asked me was:
"Why would you want Bitcoins instead of cash?". For a second I didn't know what to say; then I thought about it and here is what I came up with. Feel free to contribute to this.

1) More security (especially if you are careful).

2) Bitcoins are a potential investment, cash is not. Paper currency only really goes down in value, Bitcoins have a lot of potential to be worth more as time goes on.

3) Fast, worldwide transactions at your fingertips.

4) Similar to #3, but it's a universal currency. It's legal in most countries of the world and you don't need any kind of currency conversion to send money to people in a different country than your own.

The last point is 100% correct, and we don't need any format of currency to send one random amount to any country. You want to send 1000$ or 10000$ to your friend or relations just calculate that amount in BTC and send to there BTC address. It will reach within few minutes, and they can cash it out through any other third party company, or they can withdraw the amount with Bitcoin debit card. This is the beauty of Bitcoin that is why people use Bitcoin instead of cash.
Well said. Along with the featured accessibility bitcoin price varies respect to time. This cannot be felt on any of the traditional currency that's been used around the world. In general even holding bitcoin gives you a profit similar to an investment which is an added beauty of people preferring bitcoin over cash.

That is indeed one of the beauty of bitcoin but I don't think that's the reason why people use bitcoin instead of cash. Sending money abroad using bitcoins will surely save you a lot of time and transaction fee. On the other hand, you can't cash out your money through an ATM right away since Bitcoin debit card is mostly not available. There have been some of these in the past but I don't think it's still operating as of now.

On a side note, not everyone's tech savvy so even if you have a friend or a relative to send money to, I doubt that you're going to use bitcoin at all since they probably don't know it.

it should not be a reason to choose which one, for now indeed you can not ignore the one and use the other only , you can use both and choose the one as your main currency and the other as an option , bitcoin can be used as currency and as an investment/stocks which it makes great.

there a lot of benefit to use bitcoin and of course we as an adopter will prefer to choose it.

Using bitcoin in my opinion is mainly a political statement of disagreement to a financial status quo of the world. That alone is a sufficient reason to use bitcoin instead of a cash.

From an individual point of view it is more secure to keep the money on different wallets on the internet instead of cash under the pillow. Thats all depending on how much money you own. If its a low amount of physical cash, not in a bank then thats ok to keep it in home as a diversified form of capital.
What few examples of when banks go bankrupt or hacked accounts? I had a friend so he said that the hardest part is not to make money, but to save them.

Since I have not only single reason to use Bitcoin instead of cash , but a particular resa for better response is also a big reason to use Bitcoin .
We live in a digital world. You can video chat with a friend in China while you’re in Europe in a matter of seconds. But, how would you send that same person $1,000 in the same amount of time? You couldn’t. With Bitcoin, it’s possible to send money from anywhere in the world, to anywhere in the world, all in a matter of seconds.
Secondly in the Bitcoin we have more privacy then in practical payment system .

So here if we want to make payment secretly without knowing the other ( even to the owner of Bitcoin network ) then this is only Bitcoin that permits me to do my work successfully .

Very good points. I'd like to add:

5) Banks can't steal it from you. You may think they can't steal cash either; that's not true. With central banks printing money by the hundreds of billions, and commercial banks creating money as debt like there's no tomorrow, they're effectively lowering the relative worth of your money in their advantage. Remember: stealing 5% off your deposit, or increasing the total money supply by 5% by creating it out of thin air, has essentially the same effect.
Very important point  5) = completely control of your money

You can get robbed and people have being losing their coins for a very long time. You have to be aware that hackers are looking a way to steal your coins and there are several instances where people lost their coins because of their ignorance and once it falls out of your pocket as in this case your wallet ,you are not able to retrieve it.

There are many reasons to have bitcoin instead of cash:
First of all bitcoin isn't a currency at all , I agree it is accepted in many places where we can buy goods or services with bitcoins but of course with limitations. Bitcoin is a investment platform where one can invest and 90% of the time he will get a profit after few months depending on the price he purchased at and also if you are saying that why bitcoin when cash is there then why do people invest in gold when cash is there. Because gold has a potential to increase. Same for bitcoin it is more like a investment platform and it has a potential to increase in the future unlike cash which has the same value for years.

Actually cash loses value over the years and doesn't have the same value for years.

It becomes less useful to use Nation's cash because you need to haul more of it to do each thing.

in the 1950s Used to cost $0.10 dollars for 2 pizzas and a soda in New York City... today it costs $5.00 for just the slice of pizza.

In Bitcoin it once costs 10,000 bitcoins for a pizza, and today it costs 0.01 Bitcoins for the pizza... you could see where things are going.
I mean I get it but what I meant is if you keep 1$ in a vault after 100 years it will be 1$ but yeah the amount of things we could purchase with 1$ will be changed significantly.
And ya I totally agree with you about the bitcoins I mean who even thought this would happen 10000 btc is actually a lot.
